My father friends have a very good friend who is involved in illagle betting in Lahore. I have known that since i visited Lahore for 2nd time for 5 6 yeras ago. Yesterday at dinner he told us Salim Malik was booked in 92 world cup that he will not socre more than 15 runs in any match. I havnet checked if thats true but i am quit sure it is.

He had to pay huge corp. loan which he needed to pay. He did not had good stuff to say about Ijaz Ahmed who is in family with Salim Malik. He said there wifes are sisters.

I don't know if that match was fixed or not. But I vaguely remember Salim Malik was in terrible batting form in and around the world cup time. Was it due to a lean patch or something else who knows.

Wrong, I am pretty sure that Salim Malik made a half century in match against Sri Lanka; it was 2nd last match for Pakistan team in the first round matches.
