Just met Salman Butt, Wahab Riaz, Azhar Mahmood. Pics attached & Details of Convo

Ok. I need to breathe. Let me tell you guys everything that happened.

I went to Cosa Nostra Lahore to have ice cream with my brother. Came back two minutes ago. As I entered I saw in front of me Salman Butt, Azhar Mehmood and Wahab Riaz having dinner with Salman Butt's family.

First I went to Salman Butt and said can I have a picture with you? After the picture was taken I let rip. I said: "Salman bhai can you please for the love of God tell me that you are innocent" Butt while looking down, "I havent done anything wrong..."

Me: "Salman bhai you disappointed me, in fact you disappointed the entire nation with your behaviour. Why couldn't you deny the allegations categorically if you hadn't done anything wrong in that press conference after the Lords test match?"

Butt: "I had instructions from the PCB to stay quiet"

Me: "wouldnt have taken much to say that you were innocent..Are you at least gonna sue News of the World"

Butt: "Lets see what happens after the hearing"

Me: "Yes about that, my teachers father Aftab Gul is representing you. You think you'll clear your name?"

Butt: "Oh so you're Shan's student. Yes inshAllah I'll be cleared."

Me: "What about the other boys...Amir, Asif?" *at this point Wahab looks at me*

Butt: "Yes they're innocent"

Me: "Well I hope for your sake you're telling the truth, because if you're proven guilty then nobody will remember those hundreds against India, that hundred against Australia..I still can't understand why you're staying quiet, but I have faith in you and I'm praying for you"

Butt: "Thank you, I havent done anything wrong, and im 'hopeful' that it'll all be alright. You'll see me playing soon InshAllah"

I didnt have the heart to pester him more as his sister and mother kept giving me dirty looks and he was in the middle of his dinner

I congratulated Wahab on a brilliant performance in the Faysal Bank tournament and told him to keep it up. Took a picture and an autograph from him too.

At this point Azhar said "sannu wee lift kera deyo.." The entire table burst out laughing. Took his autograph, not a picture, I was just too disturbed with Butt's behaviour.

Butt looked guilty as they come. Couldnt look me in the eye. I really had to control myself. If his family wasn't present I would've been much more harsh with him.

This is exactly what has bothered me the most about Salman Butt. He has not once come out and said that the allegations are false. He continues to talk like a lawyer, more interested in being released through loopholes or lack of evidence.

Interesting, that you didn't ask Wahab about the jacket. Don't really blame you. He looks like a bad mofo.

Why can't these so called 'innocent' players explain how Majeed, alleged best friend of Butt was able to pinpoint EXACTLY THE THREE culprit deliveries as no balls. There is no rational reason how a man can just make up three deliveries, call the players for it and it turns out true the next day.

Unfortunately, no court of law will just believe Salman is innocent because he says so. IF the NOTW video was shot prior to the lords test than i am afraid ICC will simply not fall for the "I am Innocent" claims and pardon the players. I see the writing on the wall as far as what decision will come out after the hearing. I hope other PPers can also stop thinking emotionally and submit to the inevitable punishment that will be rightly given to the players

Actually, I am dying to see the small interview he gave to Express tribune on TV. Judge his body language from there. Acc. to Jalal bhai, he's guilty. But from whatever I've heard, he seems pretty confident of coming out clean of this whole mess....
