Why are people laughing over this.

The guy stole money. Plenty of businessmen commit fraud. They just want more money. It's not right, but it doesn't warrant this.

He should be punished hence he is spending time in jail. However in no circumstances he should be subjected to physical abuse. He's not a murder, rapist etc., all he is is a corrupt business man. In fact the guys who beat him up were probably worse offenders than him anyway.

But one fails to understand if this money he stole was their savings...
What if perfect families went through divorce because of the loss of money?
I am not saying he deserves it but we just do not know how his greed has impacted people, maybe in a very netgative way.

Corrupt businessmen are exactly the kind of men who are ruining cricket with greed, selfish administration and match-fixing I think he got what he deserved.

He stole the livelihoods of thousands of people, not caring if he ruined their lives just so he could live in luxury. No sympathy.

saw this for the first time even if it happened last year...that is very cruel to say the least..if he has done anything wrong he is serving in jail for the same. This act by no means can be/should be justified

Possibly, but him committing fraud left a lot of families in a hole. That is a pretty big crime considering the number of people affected

Exactly. If the guy had stolen my savings and forced my family into severe desperation I would have taken great pleasure in giving the guy a good beating. I dont think the "righteous" ppl on this site realiase just how he ruined a lot of ppls lives.
