Your expectations from Test team?

I will be happy if somehow we manage to draw the series since we are missing some key players.

and to some extent and

I expect them to win. Yes, this is NZ at home and it will be tough, umpire decisions will go against us but we managed to win a Test last year with perhaps the worst fielding and batting unit we've ever fielded (pre - England '10).

Would love to see all of our batsmen pile on the runs too, if YK can get to 20 Test centuries (not happening, 3 centuries in 2 tests is tough) I'd be ecstatic. Azhar deserves a maiden ton also!

Back then we had and so i dont think it will be that easy to bowl out NZ this time of the year...

Not really. The attack we have is weak but they did trouble the SA batsmen enough on more than one occasion.

Would be nice if we had a pace sensation like Junaid Khan though.

Pakistan would have trounced NZ had it not been for the butterfingers.

I don't believe in being happy to draw. I wanted a draw v Eng in 2010. We should have got it.

I know we're missing two big guns but really, we should be beating NZ all around the world in any format.

So my expectations- a series win, nothing else.

Nothing less than a series win is acceptable against NZ. We might as well suspend our own Test membership if we can't beat NZ in the format.

At least win a test match that's all. And lose but not by a minnow type beating and we are set to win the WC I think.

It's going to be a tough ask for our batsmen to perform the same way they did on flat pitches in UAE, mainly because the pitches in NZ offer more support to the bowlers then they did in UAE and Pakistan have struggled before especially recently in England during the summer.

I haven't got high 'expectations' but I have 'hopes' such as...

Azhar to continue to show his potential in NZ and finally get his ton.
Few big partnerships from the old guns.
Hafeez and Taufeeq making a superb opening partnership stand.
One 'big' innings from one of the Pakistani batsmen.
Tanvir Ahmed making a big impact.
And hopefully winning one of the matches then drawing two of them.

there are only two test matches. I 'wish' pakistan to win but I expect them to draw the series. Nz will win the first match and pakistan the second.

I am seeing a draw series also.

NZL will probably make batting wickets and hope for draws. They need a draw series more than us.

I think we might just win this series.

I expect Tanvir Ahmed to have a successful series.

Batting looks weak without Yousaf and means a lot depends Younis.

If the pitches have any life in them, I expect Misbah, Taufeeq and Azhar to fail.

Our batting is slightly stronger and bowling is weaker but having said that, i do not expect anything less then 2-0 to Pak, time for us to start winning again!

I expect frequent collapses and 2-0 loss, 1-0 at best. '10 left some scars.

And as always I hope I'm wrong

I guess u were right as the wicket looks really good for batting!

Let's hope our batsmen don't prove otherwise..
