Will we do it again ?

Pakistan has helped alot of players in establishing their careers over the years. It looks to me that Ian Bell will thank God for the rest of his life for touring Pakistan this year.

what do u guys think ?

Bell is a decent player - some of you guys are pretty harsh on him.

He struggled mainly against Warne but was ok against the quicks.

Never easy having your first proper test series against the Aussies - just ask Imran Nazir

Bell is a decent player - but pakistan gave him too many chances .. the catches that were dropped would have been taken by a kid ..plus kaneria was bowling round the wicket bcoz of warning from the umpire - kaneria has been a big let down ..

great name giving by badxhah. Ian Tendulkar . he is an average batsman and if u r giving so many chances to any batsman on such a flat wicket he will score 100. I am sure Indian spinners will make a mockery of him on their Indian tour

He's not as average as most of you make out.

He has the makings of a decent player - but will struggle against quality spin ala Mark Butcher.

I think he is quite a good player and deserves to be in the team ahead of shmuck Collingwood, regardless of where England are playing and regardless of Bell's form.

Playing your first proper series against Australia is never easy. Its not as if any Pakistani who played his first series against Australia did particularly well.

Couldnt have put it better myself, I am sick of us struggling against crappy players. The list just doesnt seem to end, there is a lesson to be learnt in this for other teams, if you want a player to make his debut and be successfull then bring him against Pakistan.

Yeah just wait until Shoaib starts up next test. I can't see Amla lasting long. Many of the Saffies haven't been tested against genuine pace and bounce yet on tour. Shoaib will bring a whole new dimension to the next test.
