United have a brilliant record at WHL, Last time they lost was New years day 1999 if i remember when they got thumped 4-1 and Sol campbell scored one of the goals.

It is different this season than many other AJ. ANyone can see that. But for you every United game is a walk in the park.

I never said it was a walk in the park. But Villa Park and WHL are two grounds where United have brilliant records! So am sure they will fancy their chances.

Spurs have tended to play well at start of games at home v United but then still lost!

Going to be a tough game for us, the scum are playing well at home and we are without 2 of our best players - I would gladly take a draw right now (though I would not want the team to play for a draw)

All three of our title competitors got great results yesterday - here's hoping we can match them but that's unlikely. A draw is the most probable outcome, followed by a home win.

Everton should have an easy game against some relegation contenders in their locality - hoping for an away win in that too.

In fact - all four of today's games can be away wins and that would keep all of us here very happy, eh GA?

Arsenal recorded a comfortable win v West ham - makes me wonder how on earth did West Ham manage to score 4 goals past Mutd in Caling cup, football is full of suprises.

Liverpool currently 1-0 up v Everton - The liverpool side looks more motivated under Daglish.

Also what an idiot Steve Bruce is, he is doing a good job of overtaking Fat Sam on the ultimate mong list

Also a scumbag mackem attacked Steve Harper when they equalised, they will always be scum - horrible club and a horrible place

A weak / poor RED for Rafael by the referee - for the second yellow, yes he bumped, but that was inadvertent, Rafael was trying to avoid the Spuds player.

The first yellow was soft too, Rafael went for the ball but yes in most cases that's a booking these days.

Overall, twas the wrong decision, IMHO.

United down to 10 men for the last 16+ minutes. Can we hold on?

According to the commentators, the last 'proper' United defeat - was when Rafael was sent off against Bayern.
In April 2010.

Is that correct?

Hmm

Desperate United defending - Spurs came very close on a few occasions but not quite.

Agree with S-S - The Man United Captain has been IMMENSE.

2 minutes plus injury time.

Still 0-0.

A point would be invaluable for United - can they survive?

They actually won that match, it was the first leg which they lost in that tie.

I thought the Chelsea game they lost was after that.

Immense point this.

And what does AJ has to say about sending off of Rafael, will he count Mike Dean as a Spurs player? Lets see.

I said in the start that if we come unscratched with a point from this game, I'll be very happy. And this point was immense, no doubt in that.

Vida, well what can you say about Captain Marvellous? He was a mountain at the back for United today.

Yes, they corrected themselves shortly thereafter - saying that the last two United defeats were to Bayern and then to Chelsea, at the time of Rafael's card in the Bayern fixture.

carrick is a disaster, dont know why fergie keeps him in the side. i also think fergie made a mistake by sending nani off, he plays superb in a 4-5-1 and could have been dangerous at the end on the breaks.

anyway wonder what the whiner and sore loser has to say about mike dean today.

I didnt watch the 1st so i cant comments on the Card the Rafael got, the one in 2nd half was just plain clumsy.

So in end yes it was a soft red card i guess. But as Amir likes to say things even out supposidly.

Judging by 2nd half a draw was a fair result.

Just saw the Newcastle Sunderland highlights, couple things:

1) Nolan being selfish, felt the need to deny the great Amoebi of the derby record. We all know Nolan just wanted to stop Super Sho from getting it.

2) Geordie, explain Nolan's backwards chicken dance? Best part is that he didn't do it once, he stop-started it on a few occasions.

3) Why no dance from Gyan?

1) Agreed - they be hating on the Super Sho

2) He mentioned in an interview that some player danced like that (didnt reveal who) and so he adopted that as his celebration

3) Because he was obviously embarassed as the goal was a fluke and not deserved
