Assalamu Aleikum

On PP one can find a thread for most of the stuff we do in our daily lives, but I could not find any PS3 thread.

So here it is, the official ps3 thread

Too lazy to actually write something meaningful myself, so I will give the honours so someone else.

But just to get this thread started, I have just put the GTA: Episodes of Liberty City in my PS3, let's see how that is...

Discuss everything from upcoming games to your present save games to old classics etc etc... Cricket, football, GTA, barbie and the list goes on...

Their was a similar thread few weeks back, tbh i hardly play on my ps3 now, as you get older, you have less time for it

That is so true. The last game I really enjoyed was Red Dead Redemption.

Just play in the weekends but turn it off after 10 minutes. Finished the first mission on that GTA thingy and turned it off. Same with IC10. Had a 130 run partnership with YK & Ahmed Shehzad in 6-7 overs with both getting to 60's and then I turned it off

I got a PS3 Slim, but hardly plays games on it, just use it for watching Blu Rays. My games console is Xbox 360, which IMO is better than PS3 from a gaming perspective.

I been had by the YLOD but thankfully under laws in the UK, i was given a part refund as it only lasted over 2years which is nothing when you pay alot for it, now i got the slim and fully insured and working fine

AND (a part from 1000 posts on PP the two weeks before and during my exams (true fact)) THAT is one of the main reasons I failed my exam

Ran home from school played RDD for some hours, made some burgers played RDD some more, wen't to toiled played RDD then the night came and I changed into sleeping clothes, wen't to toilet (only brush my teeth in the morning to save toothpaste), got some more food and coke and then played RDD till 4-5 in the night woke up late for school so I did not go and yeah you know the rest

bro don't ruin your education for games! it's all about time management and getting your priorities in check. If you had exams you shouldn't have bothered with games. Sorry if I sound like im lecturing, it frustrates so much when people don't study for exams and fail when they are capable of doing well!

Anyway back to topic, I got the YLOD 3 years after I got my PS3! Had to buy a new slim one, was painful! My friend just got YLOD yesterday and had to get a brand new one for £200 plus

I bought RDD and well i hardly even played it, mainly cause of the time it consumes.

Bro i know the feeling, with me round my exam times, I was mad playing Fifa 11 and going gym and after my exam finished, I stopped going gym and playing Fifa, how strange

It all about time management and also not getting too addicted but I guess you learnt lesson their yaar, I alway say to myself, You can play after the exam all you want but my brain never listens..

btw Good luck with the exam whenever you retake it

YLOD is the "yellow light of death", it was a big problem with the 60GB versions where they died after a period of 2-3 years

LOL. The (fun) part is that I have not learnted my lesson. I was supposed to sleep 4 hours ago, but still awake

Because of the matches from NZ, I do not sleep at all. LOL. And in weekends sleep until 5-6 pm. Craazzzzyyyy :iamlegend

Hm... I think happened with ours. We got the PS3 when it first got out, was the 40GB version though. And a couple of years laster, BAM. Did not worked

Thankfully under UK laws, I managed to get a refund of what a pre-owned console was worth at that time from the retailer so the YLOD did not affect me much

No, in Fifa 11, their is a interactive world cup where the winner wins $20,000, you have got to play day and night and be a complete Fifa freak

Heavy rain is sort of like an interactive mystery movie where you play as four different characters and try to find the orgami killer(it's a great game IMO )

Don't get to play PS3 much nowadays, but Holidays are coming up and I'm planning to Buy some new games to play.
I'm not into all those War games Like Black Ops, MWF2 etc, More of a Assassins creed, GTA, Uncharted 2 type...

So could anyone Recommend some games for me ? oh and Plus, last time i checked , my PS3 seemed really slow and buggy, i was wondering if it is possible to completely reset it?
