No Gayle Sehwag and Dilshan? They should be there. Malinga as well.

Don't think Akhtar can change a match within a few overs anymore.
Anjantha Mendis is no more a threat.

I agree that all those batsmen will be the most watched and followed players during the world cup.

I dont think that the list of bowlers you provide would have the same impact. Ajmal, Shoaib and Mendis are not the bowlers who will be making any impact. Ajmal is not even playing for his own country in the NZ series, I am not sure what makes you think that he will be playing in the world cup. Mendis is not the same guy as he once was and same goes for Shoaib Akhtar. Morkel and Steyn are two top class bowlers in the world and they would be a huge role to play for SA.

Shoaib Akhtar? Well in the recent times he has been hit to all corners of the field by Ordinary Batsmen like Guptill and Ryder , dont think he has anything to offer to the side anymore since he is past his prime .

He is dangerous for the spectators at the ground, they will need their crash hats.

+1. Though the pure impact players might effect the outcome of 1 or 2 matches, its the likes of amla, Kallis, Sachin, Lee, Razzaq, Watson whcih will make or break their team's fortunes

I don't think Abdul Razzaq would be that dangerous in this world. Niether Shoaib Akthar or Saeed Ajmal. Pakistan has no chance to make into semis. Pakistan would be really lucky if they win those 3 games but I don't think there is a any chance.

oh man this is gay..........

Abdul razzaq will be devastating on Saturday night and Wednesday morning, depending if he had a good sleep

Yousuf pathan will be successful if he has a ding dom in his mouth and india is 200 runs behind and scorecard reads like 100-6

Hashim Amla will be succesful if the pitch is bowler friendly, moving around and spinning alot.

Watson will be successful if australia is chasing, and he went for 5 overs 63 runs. meaning he is really angry

Tendulkar will be successful throughout the tournament like he always has been, and in scenario like India has always has been

Sahibzada Shahid Khan Afridi will be successful in the Semi Final and Final- Big Man, Big Game, its a Bombay Night...who cares

My 5?

Angelo Matthews, Cameron White, Yusuf Pathan, Eoin Morgan, Hashim Amla

I discluded Pakistani players because I'm going to be watching out for all of them. The only one I think would really make this list I think is Umar Gul because he really can change a game within a few overs if it's his day. Or possibly Shoaib Akthar. I know he's struggling now, but it's his last world cup and I just feel that he's going to be very, very special.

Me too, i named those five, because i dont really care what other teams do in WC, only bothered about Pakistan.

But dont get me wrong would love to see 2 teams, other than Pakistan to get knocked out.
