Best 6th bowling option...

I think we have a good one in Hafeez...

Aussies: Watson
England: Collingwood
Windies: Pollard
India: Yuvraj/Pathan
New Zealand: Styris
South Africa: Duminy
Bangladesh: Mahmadullah
Zimbabwe: Taylor
Sri Lanka: Dilshan

I'd say that the Aussies have the best spare bowling option in Watson but Hafeez is definitely second...

If we play 3 front line seamers (which will probably be the case at the WC) and a front line spinner then Razzaq becomes our 6th bowling option!

Its between him, Smith and Hussey...they generally all wont bowl their quota...

Like India will share it out between Yuvi, Raina and Pathan...

Id class a 6th bowler as someone who wont be required to bowl their full quota most games...

Razzaq is another one who will either try and make up 10 overs with Hafeez or will be a 7th bowler...

Totally agree with you.

He's fully capable of bowling 10 good overs if needed. Which is more than the average part timer can do. Watson and Hafeez are far better than any of the others in that list. Hafeez in this world cup might have even the edge on Watson as he's a spinner so might be more useful on these pitches.

On spin friendly pitches, we should seriously consider perhaps giving Hafeez close to 10 overs to bowl per match, e.g. giving him the full bowling quota. It would give us some flexibility in the death overs as well as making up for the fact that really none of our other batsmen (even razzaq can only do a max of 5 overs really) are suitable part time bowling options.

Hafeez's more likely to bowl more overs than razzaq these days, especially on spin friendly pitches that we'll see at the world cup.

So Hafeez is also our 5th bowling option. Razzaq's our sixth really.

Hafeez is capable of bowling 10 overs 8 out of 10 times. He is certainly more than a 6th bowling option. I would agree that Razzak is in fact the 6 th bowling option as far as Pakistan is concerned.

Agreed. Watson was a regular bowler and used to bowl with some pace. But after the injuries,he concentrated more towards his batting and now has become a batting allrounder. But I still rate his bowling,he's regaining his form with the bowl.

Hafeez is brilliant, Shoaib Malik was good. Watson is the best though but that was because he started off as an all-rounder
