Bryan Adams at ICC World Cup 2011
Popular Canadian singer Bryan Adams will be the only western artist to perform at the opening ceremony for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The Feb 17 performance will fall near the end of Adams' India tour, which begins Friday in Pune. Also, on the itinerary is Bangalore, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai. While the gala opening ceremony of the Cricket World Cup-2011 is on Feb 17, the matches are scheduled from Feb 19 to April 2 and 14 countries will vie for the trophy in 49 matches spread across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
