Would be a good move by Waqar and co. He also recently played a major part in winning a game out of nowhere against SA with the bat.. though Razzaq got most of the plaudits that time for some reason.

Is this the most inexperienced world cup squad we have ever had? I mean the amount of games our seniors have played compared to 03, 07 must be significantly less.

56 total matches? With YK only having played 3? Misbah none? Gul with 3? Akmal with 3? Hafeez with 2? Our seniors/leaders have barely played in a world cup!! Pretty interesting?

Ahmed Shahzad is an attacking opener and successful at U19 level. As he showed in glimpses of his debut ODI series against Australia in 2009, he isn't the kind of guy to hold back against any attack. The problem is he doesn't get a look-in as opener if Hafeez and Akmal fire and each of them has a few more strings to their bow. But in case of middle-order failures, he might be pressed into duty. For someone so young, he is a poor mover between the wickets and in the field.
