Who want Razzaq to bat higher up ? Atleast before Afridi ?

I haved always said Razzaq is better and safer batsmen than Afridi. He should bat atleast before Afridi.

Can admin make POLL ? so we can vote

He should bat in place of K Akmal. He has a higher batting average than him. Not sure why he is made to bat so low down the order.

He can be very destructive during the Power Plays.

I don't get why he isn't in front of Afridi since Afridi's recognized that he's the bowling-allrounder and Razzaq's the batting-allrounder. Kind of sums up Pakistan's thinking..

OBVIOUSLY he needs to be promoted, but not to 3 or opening as some crazy fans are suggesting. all he needs is to be promoted above afridi (switch their positions). it makes so much sense, afridi can capitalize on 2 overs more than razzaq can. razzaq's best innings have come when he has had time to settle. now who is going to convey this to the coaching staff...

definitely ahead of Afridi. Infact I was very surprised to see Afridi coming in at 7 when we had so many overs left

Razzler should bat ahead of him irrespective of match situation

A Razzaq has an average that is higher than the likes of Hafeez and Kamran. If they can open or come at 3, why not him. Kamran can be the finisher for Pakistan provided they still decide to keep him in the team!

This is what I believe and what I would prefer (which is unlikely to happen) :-

Razzaq should bat BEFORE Afridi depending on the situation - if Afridi considers himself as more of a bowler then a batsman, then I don't see how he is ahead of Razzaq who certainly enjoys batting more then bowling.

And with Razzaq's position :-

Let's not forget that most of his high run scores have come at #3 and his average at #3 could have been greater if he had been given a run of games at that position. The last time he batted at #3 was before the powerplays were introduced.

Mandatory powerplay is a BIG advantage for Razzaq as his suits his style of play ideally and he can certainly do a better job than Kamran Akmal although Razzaq may struggle against spinners - which comes to the conclusion that I clearly want Razzaq higher then Afridi or even in place of Kamran Akmal.

That is the only reason, I would prefer him above Afridi in the batting order. Many people tend to forget that his hitting abilities are superior to Afridi's and his technique is the decent of the two.
