Hi PP! Just arrived, could someone tell me...

I've just been watching some highlights (not complete)

Could someone tell me how many catches were dropped altogether, and how many catches dropped off the Beast?

And was Pietersen ever dropped off the Beast's bowling?

Loved the commentary thread guys, Raz et al

And what was the Beast's quickest delivery?

According to Inzi in a Geo interview, 8-10 chances went begging.

Youhana missed a chance early on as well off KP i believe, in the first session. was in the slips and Youhana was very very slow to react. afridi was the bowler.

moyo as a slip fielder? that is poor captaincy. moyo is a very weak fielder so slip is the last place he should field

Ok here is a detailed review

Quickest delivery: 80mph
Catches dropped: 1
Chances missed off Afridi's bowling 1
Total number of wickets: 2
Total number of wickets The Beast should have taken: 4

Catch dropped by Kaneria. It was an easy catch and should have been taken. Immediately after the catch was dropped as i mentioned The Beast let out a howl so ferocious the skunk on Pieterson's head fainted, the whole of Faisalabad and Pakistan shook, not to mention the tremors being felt all the way here in the UK. Next ball Afridi sent it down at 78mph to show the rage he was in.

Chance missed by Hasan Raza. Late in the day when Udal came in to bat after The Afridi had taken the wicket of G Jones, a delivery popped in the air played by Udal and all Hasan Raza did at short leg was just watch the ball loop in the air, over his head and fall to the ground but made no attempt to catch it as if he was mesmorised by it.

Generally The Afridi bowled a lot better than his figures suggestand there were SOOO many close calls it was unbelievable. Unlucky to say the least.

Thanks guys!

ARgh! If only Afridi exacted revenge on KP's 'chicken dance'. Still that celebration by Akhtar when he took care of Pietersen was fantastic, i love it

Just watching some highlights, Akhtar bowled some magnificent spells, what a bowler! Sami bowled some sharp deliveries too.

What about Rana and Kaneria guys, what happened? Ineffective bowling?

And good to see Afridi really playing a great role in test cricket, and by the sound of things unlucky to pick up more wickets.

And Flintoff out early Afridi's averages are becoming more and more superior to Flintoff's

kas - youhana was in the slips because of his bad shoulder and that could have cost us a very important wicket.

Brilliant bro, thanks, that's exactly the kind of detail i'd ideally have at hand (i've had to miss all the cricket today).

Afridi's bowling really looked threatening today - it's the sheer spectrum of variation he goes through in terms of spin, type of delivery and varations in pace - yes he can go for runs but as he's proving, he's a strike bowler. That delivery to Jones was a good one, very penetrative bowling, he tries to hit the stumps.

And did you hear the crowd reactions to him?! What an entertainer.

One of the best batsmen and one of the best bowlers so far for us. Afridi is growing and has become a worthy test match player. He'll become one of the best all-rounders inshallah.

Kami missed a simple stumping to dismiss Bell in the 1st half an hr of Kaneria. this wud have set the tone for the day

Yusuf dropped one in slips (didnt c that one)

Kaneria dropped a lollypop chance of KP at mid off and the bowler was Afridi

Kaneria again dropped KP. bowler was Malik. this was not an easy chance but still he reacted very slowly.

Salman Butt dropped another simple chance off Bell. bowler was Rana. this again was very imp as in the last over Shoaib had dismissed Freddie and was in middle of an amazing spell.

Yk dropped Jones in slips of Kaneria. didnt c this one

Hasan dropped Udal off Afridi at short leg.

also includes some run out chanes.

overall DM bhai we could have wrap up the series today. But our pathetic fielders have given England a chance to come back in the series.
