Finally , Australias dominance ends

Almost a dozen years of being the best ODI team winning in 99, 03 , 07. It was getting boring seeing them winning each time. It's time for a new team to emerge on top of the world. Good bye Aussies, have a safe trip home

There are a few teams that can claim dominance from here:

- India, if by some miracle we discover some fast bowling talent (chance of happening: slim)
- South Africa, if they import 2-3 more Indian/Pakistani players
- Pakistan, if by some miracle they discover 2-3 top-class batsmen (chance of happening: slim)

Of these, South Africa seems the most likely to be dominant, but they don't have that killer edge yet.

Australia's dominance ended over the last 3 years which has seen them lose to

-India in India

-lose to South Africa in Australia

-Lose the Ashes in England

-Treating a whitewash win against a infighting Pakistani team as evidence of a return to Australia's best team in the world status out of the blue

-losing the ODI Series in England, Losing their first test match to Pakistan for god knows how long

-Losing to Pakistan in the T-20 Series

-Losing to India in India again

-Losing to Sri Lanka in ODI's at home

-Losing the Ashes in Australia in the most humiliating manner

-treating a crushing performance against England in the ODI's as evidence of a return to supremacy

And Most importantly mistreating Andrew Symonds and arrogantly dumping their most important match winner because of the ego of Ponting and Clarke. Clarke is a complete sissy and a complete misfit for the Australian Captaincy. If Australian Cricket needs to move forward, it needs to give the captaincy to someone with a bit more mental toughness and respect in the team/public than Clarke. I knew Australia's mistreatment of Andrew Symonds would come back to bite them. Symonds was badly missed by Australia, an excellent finisher, accelerator at the end of the innings, brilliant fielder, partnership breaker.

^ Add losing T20 WC final to England as well. That was also so out of character for them.

That was just bizarre. England fans most of all couldn't believe how easy a win that was. On paper we had no right to win that game, Australia are a much better LOI side than us.
