Hasan Nisar talks about the current state of Muslims, he knows what Muslims were capable of, as science got evolved by Muslims in the past, but taken to its Zenith by the West. He didn't say Muslims haven't invented anything. He said of recent we haven't done anything of note and he's right.

We didn't introduce medicine or mathematics by the way. We took the Greek interpretations and built upon them, in many cases improving upon them considerably. However, this was a long time ago. Since the fall of Baghdad (and I'm not talking about the recent Saddam exit fall of Baghdad - I'm talking the Mongol fall of Baghdad), and the exodus from Spain we have very little to show for.

Really so a veteran journalist is an idiot ? How is he a hypocrite ? Just because he lives in a nice house he can't talk about the poor. Do you know his family back ground ?
Weakest arguments are always aimed at the speaker and not at what is being said. Learn to listen to what is being said and try to poke holes at the content. Throwing rocks at the messenger should not be the habit of muslims.
None of what he says is "self hate" as some put it here. What he says is actually the reality. We don't contribute to science as a whole and we have not done that for a very very very long time. We dont educate ourselves, we dont look after the weak in our society. We promote corruption by finding and supporting the most corrupt and if someone states that then I am sorry that doesnt make him an idiot.
We try to live in the glory of what our fore fathers did hundreds of years ago. Look at anything in Pakistan and it has regressed. Education, health care, industry, general well being of the populace etc etc. In the 60's we actually developed the economic plan for South Korea. In the 60's its been 50 years look at Korea and look at us. In the 80's the bengali takka's value was 2 takka's for a pakistani ruppee. Bengalis used to come to pakistan in droves to work. Check the value now.
Forget all that take any international measure/report indicating any attribute of a country and see where pakistan is on that list. Hell forget comparing to other countries just look at the trend. So take the report and see where pakistan was in 2000's then 90's then 80's and so on. You will notice a downward spiral.
In short something is horribly wrong with the way we are doing things. That needs to be recognized first before we correct it. And if someone points it out to us then that does not make him a self hater rather a realist.

My comments towards Hasan Nisar were not based on this interview. I did not even watch his interview ( dont have free time to listen to this idiot). I know him very well ( through my friends in media), and reading his article, he is hypocrite and drama baaz.

I am just expressing my opinion, you are more than welcome to listen or respect him.
