i think youre being a little harsh, they were facing the mightof the irish bowling attack, fearsome and violent. ireland is 10th out of 14 odi playing nations.

all the more reason to bring back afridi, who's supporters will claim his recent sterling efforts against nz and wi, the 7th and 8th ranked teams in the world.

how much of a disgrace is it that the ex captain throws his toys out of the pram after being mediocre at best, and the current two most senior batsmen are comprehensively outperformed by both the irish and a team mate who takes one over to settle in to a strike rate twice theirs, against the same attack on the same pitch.
