Lost my timing -Please help me out!
Hello all,
Injured my back last year and playing after a while and been to two sessions but same story both times. I cannot time the ball at all, my drives(used to be my strong point) are all going up in the air. Made scratchy shots - going everywhere. Pushed and nudged for singles but still nowhere near the middle of the bat. How can I get my form back? Living far off from my friends so any batting drills I can do on my own would be really appreciated. please help me friends...... |

Just concentrate more while batting mate, and have confidence in yourself. Watch the ball very closely and be positive. Happened to me, where i was camping on the back foot to even medium pacers, and couldnt even get the ball off the square. Started watching the ball closely and just wanted to hang in there, and viola, got back into the groove. Other than that nothing beats net practice, but as you said thats kinda hard for you. Goodluck
