Samiullah is definitely the best from the looks of it.

What about Najaf Shah and Sajid Ali?

Zahid Saeed is rubbish from what I know!

Yes Zahid looked ordinary when I saw him. Sami Khan maybe one, Sajid Ali, Shahid Nazir and Irshaad and Najaf.

These are probably the best we have and should be in any second string lineup or A team and they are better than Rao and Khalil and Riaz and Asif one way or another.

He seems like more of a test match bowler looking at those stats, yet was played in ODIs even when Asif was injured in the longer format. He doesn't have pace so thats why he was easily played in ODIs but maybe he was wasted by the selectors who were happy to keep recalling Sami etc.

I seriously don't know why the selectors keep ignoring him. I think he should be given a chance. look a his stats they are amazing and he is in superb form aswell

If you can select Aizaz Cheema why not him??

Took 10 wickets in the match against ZTBL

Midcore bowler, i remember when he was selected against Zimbabwe, he was bowling in the range of 120-125 and played 2 matches without getting a wicket.

^^ 2 matches are not nearly enough to judge somebody.

And with stats like these I wouldn't call him mediocre.

The guy is rubbish, has no swing, has no pace, and does not have the built of a fast bowler. He is like the shahzaib hassan of domestic cricket.

He was selected for internationals when he was in top form and took the most number of wickets at the time but couldn't even trouble the Zimbabwe batsmen.

Its one thing to be a good bowler and not take any wickets but its another when you are a rubbish bowler and can't take any wickets either. This guy will disappoint you, so it's better to look else where instead even though i know we are desperate for a good fast bowler.

Agree with you totally and i always wonder how people jump to give conclusions on basis of a single int tour about someone's ability....we must keep in mind that the jump from domestic to intl level isnt an easy one even if its against zimbabwe..many players failed against zimbabwe who have played lot more at national level,so i think its a bit unfair and rubbish is a harsh word for someone performing consistently for so long....

The most phattoo bowler in the history of Pak cricket...even Sami looks like a world class bowler compared to him.

He takes loads of wickets in domestic but when he was played at Int'l level, despite bowling with new ball, he could not make the ball to deviate even an inch away from the batsmen...forget any in swingers which he does not have anyway

Well I have seen him getting fairly good inswingers and outswingers in a domestic match(Its impossible to be a gun barrel straight bowler with such an amazing record for a long period of time) but overall he is not good enough for International matches at mid to late 120s kph pace.

I know he only played a couple of games and perhaps it was nerves etc. but he just looked so toothless against Zimbabwe. I haven't really seen much of him since but I hope he's truly a better bowler then the one that I watched, his domestic record suggests that he is.

Sometimes I don't understand PPs obsession with Pace. Yes it is great to have a really fast bowler in your ranks but Its not necessary that a bowler has to be a 100 MPH to be good. look at Asif he didn't have much pace but he was still good.

Bowlers like Asif and McGrath were a rare commodity even they got enough pace (133-135k) to operate with , I can't see 125-128k a genuine bowler getting success at International level.

McGrath was by now means slow. He used to bowl at 130-140k which is pretty good for a tall and accurate guy like him.
