Virender Sehwag and Ishant Sharma ruled out of the limited-overs leg.

10.20am If you are an Indian passport holder, and are in England, go watch every match India play on this tour. Who knows they might need you to play? Two more down. Virender Sehwag and Ishant Sharma ruled out of the limited-overs leg. Two men's misery, though, is two others' opportunity. Ajinkya Rahane and Varun Aaron have been called up as replacements. Extracts from the BCCI release:"Mr. Sehwag suffered from labyrinthithis of the left ear on 24 July 2011. Although his condition has improved, he continues to experience headaches. An ENT specialist, who was consulted on the same, has said that he will take two more weeks to recover completely.
Mr. Sehwag has made good progress since the surgery on his right shoulder. He will be continuing rehabilitation to build up his throwing and bowling fitness.
Mr. Ishant Sharma sustained a ligament injury in his left ankle during the Birmingham Test of the ongoing series. He has responded well to treatment, but will need to undergo a course of intensive rehabilitation and training to prevent recurrence of the pain in his left ankle."

mr sehwag needs to lose some weight and stop thinking he's batting in mumbai or chennai on a pancake...it was hilarious how he had no foot movement at all against anderson and co..how this man has made soo many runs is beyond me!! just shows how rubbish the bowling has been over recent years..

sharma just looks ordinary and wayward...the new lot will be just as rubbish..im actually really happy they are getting thrashed simply because the indian trolls have all gone back to their holes and we dont have to endure their innane silly threads about sachins godhood or how they are indian great and will shout it out loud..well who's shouting now??

Sehwag has hundreds in Australia ,SA,England & WI. I think it is his approach to batting which is wrong. He plays the same way in all conditions against all bowlers.

im still amazed he has those hundreds...hand eye co-ordination most probably..but overall ive never really rated him..a good bowler can get him out..unfortunatley there arent many of em out there!

if he was around in 90's or 80's he wouldnt have lasted longer than a series!!

I feel the chances he takes against good bowlers lead to his downfall. His test strike rate is 80+.
If he had applied a bit more mind,he would have fared better. This is what I feel

Do you think hand eye co-ordination alone can take a batsman this far?

Your point about 80s and 90s bowlers are fair. But that applies to all current batsmen.

not neccessarily..i believe dravid and sachin would still have made runs as they did...it baffles me how he makes runs..

The guy who issued Fitness certificates for Sehwag and Zaheer should be sacked. Wait, It seems BCCI forced Sehwag to play test.

Ishant Sharma is rubbish, nobody cares if he misses the series. Sehwag is a major loss, but India are lucky that they play three openers so Gambhir will probably slot up and maybe Dravid at three.

Sehwag should have never been brought on tour. It is clear he is not match fit. Indian fan should feel cheated and blame IPL.

Bhai when you can get a farzi birth certificate/death certificate, marriage certificate, board certificate for a few thousands, then what is a fitness certificate??

The physio probably even wont know what he is issuing out?
