Pop Idol Style Commentator Search

We all have to agree Pakee commentators are pretty $h!t to say the least. Rambo, Sohail, Waqar , even Wasim and Imran are all annoying and really shouldn’t go anywhere near a microphone.

So what I propose is a worldwide talent search to find a commentator who can represent Pakistan. Ok ok, I’ve heard Star did some “Become Harsha” show or some crap like that , but here’s what I have in mind.

The PP mods hold the auditions (MIG, Oxy and co you can fight out between yourselves who’s gonna be Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne) . But before the audition the contestants have to complete written, listening and speaking English tests, should be quizzed on the Wisden rule book (especially the LBW rule!), have a test on cricket history and then be put in a room with a thoroughbred Englishmen or Australian and NOT agree with everything they say.

Finally they should be tested on repeating some frequently used cricketing phrases.
I.E make sure they don’t pronounce “Wrong-un” as “Wrong One” , a “short ball” as a “shot ball” , and a “half tracker” as a “harve trekker” .

I’m sure you guys can think of some more tests and trials to put our willing contestants through......
