Right ok heres words of wisdom on City Uni

General points

I think its a decent uni, considering its not part of the University of London. Its ranked 4th in the UK for employability and the cass business school itself has a very good reputation.
Campus is ok i suppose, nothing eyepopping apart from the Social Sciences building which opened just recently. They also renovating part of a building that suffered damage by fire a few years ago.

Students

There are a lot of international students and mature students. Id say there are more Asians than non Asians and also that there are more females than males and if i may add a lot of hot booty if ya get my drift.

Accomodation

Basically if you have the choice always go for en suite. I cant emphasise that enough. Believe you me there nothing better than waking up and jumping straight into your own shower than having to wait in a queue. Walter Sickhert where im staying at is very nice as are the rooms. The other halls of residence Finsbury and others are not en suite and whilst the rooms are not bad believe me you rather stay at Walter Sickhert where you may have to pay a bit extra but its where all rooms are en suite. All Halls Of Residence are about 5-10 minutes walk away from the main Uni campus.

Ahh crap i gotta go work now, man didnt realise the time, when ill get back ill say a few more things. Until then if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask ill be more than happy to answer them.

Thats a good question.

Thing is the Undergraduate School is on campus (i.e the Parkes building)

whereas the Cass Main site is on Bunhill Row quite far from the campus itself.

City is basically a uni for Londoners or International students. You will hardly find and Northerners there (me being one of the very few). You still however see all kind of people studying there.

Where else have you got offers from?

Social life? In Islington? Pretty much non existant mate!!

The student union isnt the best in the world but they have events organised every Monday and Wednesday. Also throughout the year theres stuff on. Mind you you dont really need to worry yaar! It is after all London!! Theres always plenty on in London.

The student bar is ok, but a game of pool costs 70p!!!!
