WI batting sucks and bowling is ok. Why no Edwards n Bishoo?

No Gayle, Sarwan, Chanderpaul n Dw. Bravo???

Expect 4-1 at worst. WI just can't win with these batsmen.

Expecting Barath and Bravo to do well.....

If there aren't any player/ board disputes, WI lineup would be like

Gayle
Barath/ Simmons
Sarwan
Chanders/ Darren Bravo
Dwayne Bravo
Russell
WICKET KEEPER (they don't have any good keeper batsmen, so they can go for a batsman who can keep wickets part-time)
Roach
Edwards
Jerome Taylor
Bishoo

This XI will be very competitive in ODI's & T20's on all surfaces.

tbh that line up won't play under any circumstance. no matter how well russel can bat, he's primarily a bowler and his batting is a bonus. also dwayne bravo normally bowls his full quota of overs. so there's enough guys to bowl 70 overs (with gayle). not gonna happen.

Jason Mohammad reminds me of Dave Mohammad, left arm chinaman. On paper does not look like an inspiring team, West Indies have some really good players omitted due to WICB squabbles.

Unusual squad

Surely they shouldn't have dropped Chanderpaul

India will probably spin webs around WIndian batsmen. Russel is an exciting talent though - looking forward to seeing him in action

Think Chanderpaul has retired from ODI's.

Genuine dissapointments in Bishoo and Edwards. Looking forward to performances from Russell and Simmons.

WI's could have a very good LOI's team, if they sort out the problem between board and players......

Hilarious how Gayle is being punished despite making himself consistently available through the years while the likes of Pollard get off scot free while picking and choosing tours. Same with Bravo but at least he deserved a punishment, Mr T and T is better than Mumbai which is better than WI
