Where Is Morkel And Tahir?

I thought these guys were going to be the backbone for the future , Hear my reasons

1. i thought morkel was a reliable bowler and i think he deserves a spot

2. if they want tahir to be one of the best , why is he left out? shouldnt he play all the formats to be a Complete bowler?

Morkel might be injured, or the SA want to rest him and rotate other bowlers. Just keep him fresh for next series maybe.

Tahir would play in sub continent conditions. He looked over hyped. Just an average bowler.

they have two limited overs specialist spinners in botha and peterson. so no need to add a third spinner, especially in south african conditions. plus, tahir didn't do anything in the tests to push the selectors...

Tahiir is overrated

Tahir's doing fine. SA wickets are hard for spinners. he got important wickets of samaweera and sangakaara in the second innings. Give him a longer run. Even so, still looks more impressive than the likes of Botha or Paul Harris.

Tahir looks like a bowler who will have more success in limited overs than tests. Should be preferred over Botha and Petersen in limited overs too.

OP which Morkel are you talking about!? Albie? He has been injured, cant be rushed into the fray. Tahir is not necesary in Rsa conditions. Pace, pace and pace. Thats what needed.
