Not warped - if we're being honest most British squaddies are just thick, or at least simple. When they're on leave and let loose on the general public, in their huge loud groups - which many people find intimidating - I'm always overhearing their vulgar language, bigoted rhetoric and uneducated opinions. Not necessarily the kind of people that should be trusted with guns and explosives, although maybe that is the point - they are easier for sergeants to bully and brainwash.

As for the video, frightening and utterly disgraceful. The American philosophy of war: if it moves shoot it, if it doesn't blow it up.

after 20 yrs of living in India...I have never seen people throw fire crackers at a dog and Drive over it just for the sake of it...accidents happen but no..not for fun sir. And Usually even rocks are thrown by 8 to 10 old kids..or unless a street dog enters your home etc as there is no other way they will get out... it is not done for the sake of it. Even though you have seen it done by a couple of individuals..why did you just generalize it to two countries saying usually???... and your first post was incredibly stupid as well...

Really, most people run over dogs just for the sake of it..and throw fire crackers??? I have def seen people throw rocks..but since we have so many stray dogs in India( I am not sure if pak has stray dogs)...people throw rocks to drive the dog away...but did not see people driving over dogs and firecrackers for the fun of it...would not be suprised if its done with so many sick people though

Have seen people doing this. People always run over dogs, hence leaving the dog injuried on the leg. I have seen kids throw fire crackers at dogs in many mohallas in Pak, i had cousins who use to do that even.

Commander of that brigade should be held responsible for this act. Absolutely unequivocally disturbing. Army is having hard time recruiting hence they focus on schools in small bible towns and this is the result. These guys should be severely punished.

these guys do NOT represent the whole army. I have friends from upper regiments who personally adopted Iraqi kids and paid for their treatment out of their own pockets

Compare to India, we treat animals better. We keep our animals in some farms or in villages. You don't find a huge number of them roaming around on the streets

In India, you find a huge number of cows, dogs, pigs roaming on the street, eating garbage. Now if you let animals roam around on the streets, then that animal is bound to get injuried. Everyday, i always see atleast 3-4 dogs with injuried legs, not being able to walk properly. Yesterday i even saw a cow injured on the leg...

One could also blame the government for not setting up proper farms for animals.

Most US soldiers who have killed human beings(against war protocols) don't ever get to court marshall and those that are convicted get a very low sentence.
