There must be usage of diapers because of the need due to certain conditions, not because of being scared.

Imagine if they are on some kind of sensitive mission ( for example IED team, some other type of mission where soldier has to stay alert for 24 hours), in that case, they must have advised to use diapers.

There were reports of the yanks wearing nappies in the Iraq war. The US have officially denied this but I wouldn't be surpised if it's true.
