Everything we do is ultimately geared towards will to live and procreate.

We might have some insterests like collecting watches, expensive cars etc... But this trend is only probably a few hundred years old. With in everyone, there is still the caveman lurking. His sole aim was to live and procreate and we are all genetically programmed to be that way.
