i want to see how we bat against Gul. There is so much hype around him, i cant remember when there was so much hype around a player who has only played a handful of tests.

He didnt bowl a single delivery in his last domestic match (a couple of day ago) so it depends if he has recovered or not

Cricinfo are not covering it in their schedule and going by past records, the pcb will not update the scorecard until atleast 4:30 uk time as the scorer often falls asleep!

I am pretty sure Pakistan will make a seamer friendly pitch so if Imran Farhat and Asm Kamal score heavily they have a great chance of getting into the starting XI for the first game.

The game is at the Bagh-e-Jinnah ground in lahore which is very much like a club ground in england. The outfield tends to be lush the wicket green and seamer friendly. Nothing like the pitch which will be used in test match.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has accepted a request from the Indian team’s captain Rahul Dravid to allow the touring side to play all their 12 players in the three-day tour game starting from Saturday (today).

Pakistan had also accepted a similar request from the England squad when they toured Pakistan recently.

"Dravid made a request that India should be allowed to play their 12 available players as he wants them to get some practice before the first Test. We saw no problem with that," PCB official Saleem Altaf said on Friday.

India will be without their vice-captain Virender Sehwag, former captain Sourav Ganguly, leg-spinner Anil Kumble and reserve wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel in the tour match at Bagh-e-Jinnah, the same venue where England lost both their warm-up matches.

The four join their teammates on Saturday after completing appearances in domestic cricket.

"We can basically play maximum 12 players in the tour match so we thought it would be better if the four got practice in domestic cricket," Dravid said earlier.

The Pakistan A side includes nine Test and international players for the tour match.

this game will not be telvised as the ground(Bagh-E-Jinnah) doesnt have broadcsting facilities..& it doesnt even have a press box thats the reason why no website is covering up the live commentry..last time Ten Sports & ARY showed the practice game coz it was played in Qaddafi Stadium

This is just a wild guess but I think India are 42 for 4. Irshaad has taken 3 and Gul has taken 1. Complete guess though.
