Footwear for Fast Bowlers

I've read a lot of differing views online about what are good shoes for fast bowlers.
Do any players, who play consistently, have advice on what kind of shoes are good to wear to prevent injury while fast bowling?

Would it be a bad idea to wear soccer cleats while bowling? I feel like that would put extra strain on your knee when your front foot comes down.
I'd appreciate any advice people have on this subject.
