Just to reiterate, a 3 time champion as a player and twice as captain here so I'm an obviously valid candidate for the vice-captaincy post.

I think we need to see the default averages for each player before seeing who should be placed where in the batting order, plus in proper pakistani tradition it would be better if a youngster bats at 3, with seniors lower down the order to prevent a collapse, hehe.

Just as a note, I do want to pick very active people for my team. The simulator just randomly runs through the averages, but those people that are always present with the team and active in the team threads during matches makes this league fun, so definitely post here if you are an active poster and surely you will be drafted into my team

5 genuine batsmen (including WK)
4 genuine bowlers
2 bowling all rounders
1 batting all rounder
1 pure all rounder

What do you think?

and for the team/stadium names I would prefer it if we have local Pakistani sides like we had last time as it would certainly create more rivalry in the tournament instead of fantasy-like teams.

For the team names, that's what I wanted to do, but I don't think we're allowed to do that so I don't know how we're supposed to come up with team names with out any real-life places.

Also that would be the ideal set up, but considering there are so many all-rounders in the draft, we'll probably have to settle for some more all-rounders. And I'd rather have one more pure batsman than a bowling all-rounder.

Maybe we can convert some all-rounders we pick to purists

I am a left-arm spinner , and an attacking batsman who prefers to play in the middle-order . An excellent fielder is also another quality you'll find in me .

I'm not a selfish player , and I'm a mathcwinner who plays only for the team. The best thing is, I'm not corrupt

Everyone else claims to be a Pure Batsman, but I'm the only Pure Batsman you will find
in this league:

I. Have the power and will to take it across the boundary line and maintain an over 90 SR with ease.

II. I'm a Utility batsman. Have me open, 1-down, or send me in at the end of the innings to keep the bowlers' and fielders' eyes looking out of the ground every ball. Powerplay or not.

III. You can relate me to Afridi if you're comparing his ability to hit the ball anywhere in the ground, but I have that Don Bradman class still with me and have control over my strokes.

IV. Straight-A, goodie-tissue boy in school and at home, so there will not be any misconduct issues. But once I'm on the field, you'll see a man with the force of a mother bear who just got her cubs taken away. 110% given 100% of the time, if not more.

V. Originally wanting to be a Fast-bowling Pure All-Rounder, I have a great arm and am one fast fellow, meaning putting me outside the circle is the equivalent of having no boundaries hit in my general area. But more recently, I have been adapted to playing in the slips. I can see the ball coming before it is hit. ***If you need a part-time bowler, you can find one in me.

My Idea (In ways similar to yours, agressive): Of course fielders need to support bowlers, but sometimes the bowlers need to support themselves. We need to keep our economy rates very low. The reason is because well: Once a batsman is under pressure, he has many ways of getting out of it. Once a bowler is under pressure, he loses his sanity for the rest of his overs. (For example )

In my opinion, I'd rather have our batsmen playing with less pressure and easily gaining runs than our batsman having to work harder because our bowlers easily gave runs.

Also I would like to apply. I am WK batsman, and since this is my 1st time participating in such a league, I will always be loyal to those who gave me a chance. I cant really describe my level of skill seeing that those all depend on the level of my contract. Also I have some minor photoshop skills so I can try my best for any logos need for the team. And like I said I will be happy on any team to gain experience, ut would love to do it under a good captaiñ

btw, zeeshan. Looking at the averages I think you should consider changing player type from Pure Allrounder to a Wicketkeeper. I mean, if the captain is to get an A contract then having a wicketkeeper with a batting average of 45 will bring some nice balance to the side, in comparison to an all rounder who has averages which are lost in between and may produce inconsistent performances? You can ponder over that one for a while seen as though the draft won't be ending anytime soon but I think its definitely food for thought.

And yeah I've been thinking what to change it to, I picked all-rounder because I am an all-rounder in real life, but I might change myself to a specialist bowler.
