The funny thing is the Arsenal duds - Wallcot, Arshavin, and Bendtner all succeeding in this tournament and their superstar failing.

I love the Dutch - the way they typically play football - not this team though. Van Basten is probably still my favourite striker of all time, but no team can combust like them. France gave it a go a few times but the Netherlands will always be Pakistanis in disguise..........

It feels great making a statement like that, considering it's England who usually get that.

Well England at the mo are not that rated, seem to have a strong team spirit, and have 4 points from 2 games despite the suspension of their star player. So I would say you're wrong.

We shall see when England face a proper footballing side until then enjoy your short 'memorable' moments.

What's a 'proper footballing side'? And at least England are still in the tournament.
