Pakistan: Are you satisfied with the bowling department in T20?

Please don't start bashing i just want some discussion on these points:

Our pace attack: Muhammad Sami, Yasir Arafat, Umar Gul and Sohail Tanvir

Are you guys satisfied with these bowlers as world cup is going to held soon?

I personally feel that this bowling attack is not satisfactory in T20?

What other options we do have?

we just defended 122, I'd say our bowling is fine...it's the batting that we need to worry about

Replace Arafat with Hammad Azad and we have a great bowling attack.

Tanvir
Sami
Hammad
Ajmal
Afridi
Hafeez

Keep stupid Gul out. Enough living off past glories.

Good question...

Thing is that in both matches barring Gul It clicked... So cant really drop or make changes until some match losing performaces are made and a change needs to be forced...

Just need to Add Wahab Riaz to the squad atleast..

His full swinging 145kph thunderbolt yorkers will be required

I think that adds to the Batting strength more then the bowling but yes that's what Id go with.. But can you drop Arafat after hes taken three wickets two at the top order ?? Dont think Hammad can match that

Not sure.

I still want Gul in the side. Take Arafat out and put Gul in, and I think it's decent.

Hammad in for Latif will help too.

Arafat's wickets were all gifts. He was the weakest link and didn't look dangerous.

Hammad can do a similar job, plus he's easily one of our best batsman. And he's VERY good at pressure chases. Thats a quality we desperately need since we cant chase any total to save our lifes.

4 specialist bowlers in Tanvir, Sami, Ajmal and Afridi

+ Hammad + Hafeez + Malik if needed = Most balanced team.

We dont really need a 5th specialist bowler. We just need someone to share overs with Hafeez. In the first T20 Hafeez didn't even need help and finished his 4 overs.

Pakistan's bowling is always fine. Give them a target, or chase down the low targets they allow the opposition to set, and most of the time they will deliver.

Batsmen, batsman batsmen.

Gul will still be important in T20s, he's just been out of rhythm, which is his perogative given he's played virtually every Pakistan game - test, ODI and T20s for a long time now.

Of course !!!
We have a quality bowling attack.

IF IF IF Sami can bowl like this for games in a row then we have every thing that a bowling attack needs !

rubbish attack. Tanvir can swing on these pitches, otherwise he's useless. The world cup is in sri lanka so good for us. Arafat just got lucky with his 3 wickets he needs to go
