I don`t think Spurs have any great achievements.

So no need to watch for Tottenham fans

If the Europa League's so crap then why did United get outclassed to a team that didn't even win the tournament?

I think if Spurs manage to finish 5th or 6th it can be seen as a sucsessful season for them. Maybe they should take the europa league more seriously this season.

Anyone who offers this would be an idiot of 1000 dimensions..

£30 Mill is the market value of Modric and right price.

Yes.

But it also depends on whether the player wants to go or not and in Modric`s case he wants to leave.

Arsenal sold Nasri and Fabregas last Summer yet we did the unthinkable and finished not 4th BUT 3rd... Ahead of Spurs. Excellent achievement.

Spurs lost Harry - key players want to leave - and who would want to play for them in Mickey mouse cup? Their rivals Arsenal and Chelsea have already made key signings but Spurs seem busy in finding a manager and keeping hold of players who want to leave. Tough times.

I think a finish in the top 10 would be a good achievement for Spurs considering the crisis they are in right now.

I can't edit my post.

As for Messi; £88mill would be a bargain and there would be a huge number of clubs who would pay that for him, Barcelona would not even consider selling Messi for £88mill

Thats the point.

We wont sell him and Messi would not want to leave and effectivily increasing his market value.

After tonight's performance.
Modric is worth 50-60mill.

Not even Schweinsteger can dominate Xavi and Iniesta like Super Luka did.

Yes but that's what price he went in this inflated market.

Modric in this market is worth £50mill considering un-proven youtube hype jobs like Hulk and Hazard playing in inferior leagues cost around £30-40mill.

No Offense, but £ 30-35 Mill is max for Luka.

Going to be a sad day for Tottenham fans as Super Luka has provided us with many fantastic memories but you can't deny him his dream move.
Best players leaving to Play for teams in CL, A sign of things to come for spurs over next few seasons ;)

I think aslong as AVB can have a good run in the europa league and spurs finish 5th or 6th it should be seen as a sucsessful season for them.

So Spuds get AVB....well on the bright side, maybe AVB'll give Kranjcar a bit more of a chance unlike Harry who IMO wasted him big time

Kranjcar already moved to Kiev.

I think AVB will do well for Spurs. Just have a feeling.

PakFan, has AVB's appointment suddenly convinced Adebayor to take a massive pay cut?

Vertonghen's dream is to play for Tottenham, It's pretty simple.

Vertonghen and Caulker - 2 Fantastic passers of the ball and very mobile.

Caulker is a much better CB than Jones and Smalling according to Swansea fans on there forum.

Do you not watch football yourself?

Caulker was very impressive last season and based on what I saw he was better than Jones and Smalling. Caulker is very good on the ball
