Mohsin Khan Blames Rameez Raja for His Axing as Coach / Rameez Retaliates on Twitter

Just heard that on BKBH former Pakistan coach Mohsin Khan has blamed Rameez Raja for his axing as coach of the Pakistan cricket team.

Retaliating to the accusation Rameez tweeted "Ex coach Mohsin Khan couldn't walk straight was incapacitated after years of alcohol abuse got the boot from PCB not me"

Other quotes from the show tonight, also updated on twitter @PakPassion:

@PakPassion Mohsin Khan "Age doesn't matter. If Yousuf's fit and if he performs well in domestic cricket, he should be considered for a recall

@PakPassion Mohsin Khan when asked why as the Chief selector he sent Yousuf to Eng tour in 2010 "The tour selection committee had requested for Yousuf"

@Saj_PakPassion Former Pakistan coach Mohsin Khan blames Rameez Raja for his axing as coach. In response Rameez labels Mohsin a drunk !

‏@Saj_PakPassion Now that he's mentioned it on tv, Mohsin had this theory that Rameez, Zakir Khan & Inti were the men behind his removal as coach #cricket

@PakPassion Basit Ali on Imran Nazir "He probably has a bigger fan following in Pakistan than Younis Khan!" #cricket

@PakPassion Mohsin Khan "Although Ayub is a talented player, experienced batsman Faisal Iqbal should have been given a chance in the first Test" #SLvPak

@PakPassion Mohsin Khan "Faisal has scored heavily in First Class cricket as well as One Day cricket last season. He deserves the recall he's received."

@PakPassion Basit Ali "Hafeez will lose the T20 captaincy soon if he doesn't take the seniors along with him and if he doesnt start performing himself."

@PakPassion Mohsin Khan says Ramiz Raja was behind his removal as Pakistan team's coach! #cricket #Pakistan

@PakPassion Mohsin Khan "Ramiz Raja was not alone. There were quite a few other people too." #cricket

@PakPassion Mohsin Khan "There are two players who refuse nightwatchmen in Test cricket: Younis Khan and Ricky Ponting." #cricket

@PakPassion Mohsin Khan: "We made it clear that whoever plays for himself and not for the team would be dropped." #cricket

@PakPassion Mohsin Khan "We dropped Umar Akmal and told him to learn to play Test cricket first." #cricket

‏@PakPassion
Mohsin Khan: "Unfortunately, we do not have wicket-keepers of the calibre of Rashid Latif and Moin Khan in Pakistan today." #cricket

Mohsin khan really needs to stop crying and whining like a child. He was appointed as an interim coach, does he not understand that? He wasn't sacked, his role came to an end with the appointment of whatmore. Sour grapes

And I can remember that Zaka often said PCB was looking for a permanent qualified coach. Mohsin knew he wasn't going to stay there for long so don't really know why he is creating so much fuss now.

Mohsin is not a coach. The guy was a decent man manager but his coaching credentials were limited to drinking cups of tea. The guy seems so bitter.

Mohsin Khan should do one thing before he makes any other comments. He should buy a dictionary and look up the meaning of 'interim coach'.

Ridiculous from Mohsin Khan. Don't think even his supporters will support him now. Just looking to blame others when he gets the chance. He was an interim coach. It's not like he has any divine right to coach the pakistan team.

Rameez shouldn't have retaliated like that, comments about a person's personal life (and comments which are more rumours, no actual proof). But in a way Mohsin deserved it for the ridiculous accusation against Rameez.

Petty from both.

Mohsin should be blaming no one. He was always an interim choice.

Rameez should have let it slide and leave it at that. Why waste your time responding to such comments? Makes you look bad.

I agree with you Mohsin was a interim coach, he has done well as a coach,But you need a qualified coach for this job,Mohsin needs to do his coaching courses if he is serious about managing international team.
Ramiz is a commentator and has absolute right give his opinion about qualification of coach.

Really poor stuff from Ramiz.

Regardless of Mohsins comments, Ramiz should not highlight his sins if true. Should cover them if anything. I did not know Mohsins drank and neither do I want to know. Yes I know well it might be public knowledge already.

Low class response.

I watched full episode of BKBH yesterday. It was basit ali who called ramiz raja for the removal of mohsin khan..
Basit ali said imran nazir gets enough chances but he didn't prove. I want to ask him then why is he supporting faisal iqbal's inclusion. Faisal iqbal gets more and more chances than imran and he performed zero out of hundered.
Moreover, Basit ali said that there is one province of which players are given more importance. He and yahya are always backing up karachi players.
And I dont know yahya's problem, why he is so much against hafeez and misbah and never said anything against afridi.

Mohsin Khan should not have come out and say the stuff he did about his coaching career, when he signed up for it he knew it was only for a short period of time but then again who doesn't like power of being a coach?

as far as Rameez is concerned he shouldn't have attacked Mohsin on personal stuff such as drinking.... so pretty much poor stuff from both of them

They should act more mature and one of them have to be the bigger person and let it go.

ramiz didn't say anything about his private life, mohsin being a drunk directly affected his job when coaching pakistan. it's not like he had the odd drink here and there, he's a drunk! and if he is, then it's the correct decision to appoint someone who's professional enough to do the job

Harsh response by Rameez ( but hilarious at the same time ) but Mohsin is an egomaniac, when he was interim coach he was emotionally blackmailing the PCB by making statements to the media. Mohsin was an interim coach, a stopgap, nothing more, nothing less.

All that tea drinking must be getting to Mohsin's head !

Caught the show today in the morning.

Are the callers paid? One of them said, "Only a Pakistani coach feels bad when the team loses, the foreign one will just pocket the money."

And then Mohsin made a huge show of it and just as the show was ending, he thanked the caller and said that only a Pakistani feels bad when the team loses, foreigners don't.

His childish attack was laughable

Did i said that what mohsin did was right? Mohsin knew he was coach on temporary basis. But something between him and rameez(along with zakir and inti) did took place regarding his old job as chief selector..

Zaka was ready to give mohsin his old job or a new job in pcb and asked inti to contact mohsin, but something happened, to which Inti convinced zaka to forget mohsin and move on..

Slightly OTR from Rameez. Classic case of bringing a persons private life to counter professional criticism.

This BKBH is the biggest soap-opera ever.

Only Pakistani cricketers/experts/coaches/selectors like to discuss their personal agendas, beefs in public, generally through media. Mohsin shouldn't be blaming everyone for that as he knew from the start that he was not going to be a coach and Ramiz, should have acted like a bigger man and let it go instead of taking personal shots, but oh well.

This BKBH show is the biggest joke and should be BANNED. THe quality of this talk show is so low and infact they use it for propagating different agendas esp the host Mirza, YAHYA Hussani, Majid Bhatti. All they do is support every single Karachi player and try their level best to make a strong case for Afridi getting back the captaincy.

The Sports Circle show on PTV hosted by Nauman Niaz and Amir Sohail is the real quality show and you get to hear really good comments and analysis from them. And they do interact with people through twitter/FB and choose interesting comments and questions to discuss.

GEO in general is such a poor channel always looking to spread rumours, Gossip and conspire and their Sports channel is no different!

Okay, lets get one thing straight, IF what Ramiz said is true, and Mr Mohsin Khan did indeed get inebriated while on the job then everyone deserves to know, including the fans. That is no more private than running around nude in your back yard.

Ever since Mohsin tried to take all of Waqar's and Misbah's credit, I cannot trust this guy. Ramiz has always been honest at the very least.

I wonder why he is such a sissy in that commentary box, getting intimidated by the likes of Ranil Abeynaike and Russel Arnold

I guess there are other constraints involved there

PTV actually does have the better show, there's no Drama over captaincy, they only discuss the match, albeit in a very boring and sleep invoking style.

The problem is some media outlets and players are labeled baised just because of their background. I see no threads or posts about BKBH program last nite when MHK, Basit Ali, MIB were all praised of Hafeez, Azhar and Taufeeqs performances. Why the so called champions of equality can't write a line or two abt it. Yes they will come out of their caves once any of these ppl name a khi player in their discussions.
