Rehandling Cricket Bat

Has anyone rehandled a bat before?

If so, can anyone walk me through the procedure - such as how to remove the handle properly from the splice, and what glue should be used when inserting the new handle, etc. (Handles can be bought online, but no instructions whatsoever)

Thanks !

you would need wood glue altho the exact type im not sure, you wd need a mallet to hammer the handle without damaging it, and you would need wood carving tools to smooth the handle to the profile of the bat once the handle has set.

im pretty sure no one here has done it because it is really tough to do right and if done wrong would ruin the bat.

check out this vid from about 2:00
