Akmal hit the fastest test ton by a Wicket Keeper
i know it's all about Afridi....but we must not forget Akmal's role.
The best i have seen of him. Last edited by the true passionist; 14th January 2006 at 23:25. |

Afridi did it in 80, Akmal in 81. Having said that, how often does a batsman match Afridi's style of hitting. Gilchrist who?

The match being drawn will not take away from any individual innings. Younis and Yousuf, Afridi and Akmal .. all of their runs will be remembered regardless.
Executing the strategy is key .. just b/c its a belter, doesnt mean all batsmen will score .. Inzy made 1, Salman 6 ..it was upto the batsmen to make the runs, and get on with it. India now has to proove their batting skills to save the match. I can see them easily making 450+, with a couple centurions. IF not, then India will a have a lot to think about coming to Test 2. Test 1 - Draw |
