Good move, is a very handy all round cricketer even in T20S.. can make thing happen with the ball and fielding like I have been seeing in Advance Telecom T20.. has been looking weak with the willow but does have ability to form good partnerships in crisis time

For impact players would have gone with Shahzaib or Awais Zia

Bradman 2.0 is totally unable to find the boundary against club cricketers in the match that is in progress.. He will be a total flop in the SLPL.. Baffling how such a pathetic player has such a big fan base.

28 at well below run a ball.. In a match where his team was batting first and had lost only 2 wickets (Bradman 2.0 was the third man out in the 18th over)

That is probably the least amount of pressure he would have while playing a t20 match.. still Bradman 2.0 flopped like there is no tomorrow..

Remember this is the same tournament in which Imran Farhat (yes him!) scored 72 of 30 odd balls..

Can't believe such a useless player like Fawad is rooted for with this much intensity.

No one has asked for him in T20's. Only tests and ODI's and even in that, primarily tests!

In ODIs we already have too many tuk tuk batsmen in Azhar, Shafiq, Younis and Misbah hence no need for Fawad.

In Tests he does not deserve a place in the middle order (even UA is not in the squad).. As an opener we have much better batsman in Afaq Raheem and Nasir Jamshed before him.

He should stick to what he is good at.. Carrying drinks for the players.

Sure, no big deal making a century on your test debut away from home and doing more than enought to be retained in his initial test run, surely he would provide us good bench strength to say the least, afaq and nasir have not been tested at test level and UA has temperament issues. Afaq/nasir may do well and UA may improve but fawad should also be in the test rekoning, with the retirements of younis and misbah looming he should be a part of the future and he has proven that he does have what it takes just needs a good long run...

Yaar everybody keeps bringing up his 168.. It was on a pancake of a pitch against a mediocre bowling line-up.. Plus he has done zilch after that one solitary innings.. Its not that he was dropped immediately after scoring that century..

He only played in 3 tests? Not a long enough run to say he has done zilch, btw he averaged 41 in those 3 tests. And in domestics has been scoring runs, should be on the test bench in my opinion along with UA.

He can be a handy 12th man ...because of his reasonable fielding skills..has nothing to offer with his batting there...would be surprising if he gets into the team from 6 or7 overseas players..he can not be in 2 from 7 overseas players

really poor selection for foreign player..there are so many better option than Fawad..he just does not belong to this format not even great Chenderpaul but he can make up with his class.he does have the ability to clear the fence when really needed.

The Bangladeshis really shouldn't be making fun of Pakistani cricketers. Sorry to say even if he doesn't get selected for Pakistan (undeservingly for ODIS/Tests) he is still a better cricketer than every Bangladeshi bar Shakib.

Its not about Pakistan vs Bangladesh. If that were true, we wouldnt have the right to criticize any Australian/South African/Indian player because they have better players than us

Are you serious ?

No way Fawad would get into Bangla team . They have some decent and half decent batsmen in their squad .

It's not criticism if you're making fun of them and then having a laugh.

In their test and ODI team? Fawad has a higher ODI average than almost all of them as well as a higher test average. He also has a higher first class average than probably anyone in Bangladesh. I really hope you're not going to suggest that Bangladesh has more competitive first class cricket than Pakistan.

I did say cricketer and did not specify whether I was referring to his bowling or batting. He is a better batsman then all of the aforementioned. Had Bangladeshis realized that cricket incorporated both batting and bowling they would have been far better at the sport...

Yes that is what I'm saying and his stats back that statement. The reason he does not get chances in Pakistan is because the selection process in Pakistan is not by any means fair. That is why you see the likes of Imran Farhat and Faisal Iqbal that play numerous matches without performing but Fawad Alam and others are dropped after a single game.
