I have some criteria that I have to satisfy before allowing the burger to enter my mouth.

1) That its HALAL
2) THat it is made from 100% Chicken fillet (not that disgusting processed crap that is chicken waste made into burger shapes!)
3) If possible,, know where the meat originated from (i.e supplier etc)

My local place actually get the chicken s in from the butchers; skin it; and cut it so you know its not processed; others like Chicken Cottage have e-mailed me to confirm that they dont use any cheap, pork/beef protein injected 'hala' chicken from Holland.

Look at the ingredients. Usually says 'deboned' chicken or 'mechanically retrieved' chicken meat (x%). It s basically waste chicken products left over when processing chicken for other products (it's halal, but the waste thats left). That waste is then sold on to these frozen burger makers who recook it; add colours; flaovours; shape it...and resell it as 'reformed' chicken.

One burger can contain 'chicken waste' from 100 different countries!

why don't you just go and inspect the whole logistical chain of the burger the next time you order one? has the muslim world lost all common sense and intelligence?

You're duty is to find out if it's halal or not period.
if it's written on a wall somewhere bon apetite
if not...ask...they say it's halal eat it

well on the website it does mention which are the 'Halal' restaurants

I find it odd though that a franchise on one country has some 'Halal' restaurants and the others are not - ah well its NOT as if one NEEDS to eat at Nandos
