Am glad play ended early today

May sound abit bizare with pakistan being on top near end of the day but i think close of play coming 15 overs or so early was a possible good sign. For following reasons:-

1) pakistan have still got a relatively new ball (just 16 overs old)

2) bowlers should be fresh and raring to go from ball one tmoz.

3) usually in mornings of test matches in karachi there tends to be the dew factor and also the sea breeze factor aswell. This should allow for alot more swing even if wicket is starting to flatten out. Add to that the fact wicket will covered overnight there maybe some sweating under the covers which may assist.

Pakistan bowlers need to come out firing and if they can pick off 3/4 wickets early espcially yuvraj and dhoni then pakistan can take a bit more control of this match.

Would have preferred one more wicket today to promise of more tomorrow. Ganga was not exactly looking assured out there with that rabbit caught in headlights look on his face.

I don't know who is who but I am sure that sea breeze he is talking about and swing and other things he must have followed the Ashes very closely as the exact same words were said by one of the commentator. But later the other commentator dismissed them as non-sense. lol it look very scientific to those who have no knowledge of the game but give me a break sea breeze what about the mist the fumes in the lahori air and other chamicals that are so common in cities environment don't they effect the pitch.

Man u ........thing

Bowlers have always gained assistance from sea breeze at hove in the uk. commentators at times dont know what their talking about at times.

The sea breeze itself is not why .. locations that are near the water, tend to have more humidity/moisture in the air ..

anyone from Karachi knows that its one of the most humid cities in all of pk .. literally disgusting weather .. standing still u can work up a sweat ..

this aids in the swing .. whereas in the north .. the weather is drier, less humid .. less friction for the ball going through the air .. therefore less swing .

thats not rocket science, but a true factor .. just look at the those grounds in UK, capetown, AU, SL, NZ especially ..
