champions league - calling man utd fans!!! - LOL

cant wait for the return legs. Where are the likes of umer gul, jameel bhai? what happened guys with mighty man utd? i thought u were a superior side and milan would be no problem?????

anyways - arsenal have a chance atleast but MUST keep a clean sheet to have any chance but can they stop makaay?

lpool are all but through as long as they dont self destruct.

Chelsea vs barca is on a knife edge and will be a thriller.

juve vs madrid - i expect juve can overcome the 1-0 deficit.

porto vs inter - inter should have this but having adriano on the bench is criminal.

I said AC milan were favorites as we were missing ruud b4 the first leg.But now that he is back we will have no problem in defeating milan .Whilst Chelsea will batter barcalona and ronaldinho will move to chelski and barca will be finished

United will go through. Mark my words. We're gonna have a night reminicent of Turin 6 years ago. We always peform best when our backs are against the wall.

Gattuso has said today he wants to move to United. He thinks United are bigger than Milan.

Chelsea will cream Barca. They will win 3-1.

Its funny how you say United aint got a chance but Arsenal have despite the fact Arsenal lost 3-1. They aint got a chance if Campbell aint back and I expect them to get knocked out.

Whatever man. Theres no getting through to some people.

You keep clingng to the Ronaldinho deal. That was almost 2 years ago. Time to get over it. So what? He chose Barca. Big deal.

One of the best young defenders in the world chose to join United from Barca and Fabregas left for Arsenal. But you don't hear anyone harping on about that.

Face it. Chelsea are gonna thrash Barca. Rijjkard is a nob and I can't wait to see his face when his team are dumped out of the CL.

umer - thats funny - u said we could have him - oh yes thats right - obviously no one told sir alex that - last season he came out and said he was desperate for ronnyd and wished he had a player like him and that he would have hlped them win premiership and he blamed kenyon for that and robben.

Umer - someone should tell alex whats going on

Jameel - pique is good but fabregas was the bigger loss but we still have others coming through iniesta, messi etc - so no problem there. Ok lets go on this season - u still believe united better than barca?
im only gonna listen to jameel as he atleast backs his ideas up whereas umer here is trying to be annoying

Actually GA it was Kenyon's fault. Robben was set to sign for United for about 6 mill but PSV decided they wanted more money and Kenyon refused. He then left and went to Chelsea and decided to pay 10 mill for Robben and got him.

Kenyon is a tw@t and Chelsea are welcome to him.

I realise that Kenyon is to blame for a lot of things! but i was just messing!

Actually accoring to PSV they had agreed a £9mill deal with Robben, Robben came to man-u seen the training ground etc, Robbens dad made that comment about never joining chelski. THEN Kenyon took advantage of that (he assumed robben would ONLY join them) faxed the offer for Robben BUT he only made a £6mill offer, which PSV were ******** off about AND rightly so!

A similar thing happened with RonnyD. Man-u agreed a £14/15 mill deal. RonnyD came to man-u, he even checked out the local nightclubs, he even made that comment where he said "id be the cutest red devil" so he had wanted to join, when it came to faxinf the offer, this time Kenyon made only a £9mill offer. obviously PSG were ******** off!

Kenyon was trying to be shrewd but it backfired!

Milan star Gennaro Gattuso has denied that he stated a desire to join Manchester United in the near future.
The Rossoneri midfielder was interviewed ahead of their UEFA Champions League last 16 second leg clash with United at The Giuseppe Meazza on Tuesday.
However, Gattuso now claims that he was 'misunderstood' by The Mail on Sunday.
"I haven't said I want to go to Manchester," Gattuso explained to Telelombardia.
"I said that English football fascinates me, but I haven't any intention to leave.
"I've only spoken about the possibility of leaving, when Milan decide they don't want me. But while they want me, I'll surely stay.
"I don't see why I'd have to leave the team that allowed me to become a big player and to win many things."
Explaining the quotes which appeared in England, the former Rangers star said he was misquoted.
"The journalist asked me a question saying that [Roy] Keane is set to hang up his boots and that the coach [Sir Alex Ferguson] appreciated me," he opined.
"I told him that I was flattered by this, but surely I have never said I want to leave Milan. I've never said even a similar thing."

SO JAMEEL WHERE HAS GATUSSO SAID MAN UTD ARE BIGGER THAN MILAN???? i just cant seem to find it - and these are gatusso's words!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahah - I LOVE IT - he NEVER said any of that crap - i knew it was typical newspaper rubbish

You keep trying to convince yourself that Milan and Barca are bigger clubs than United. Deep down you know United are the biggest club on the planet and its obviously something you find difficult to swallow.

BTW, please remind me what Barca have won recently that makes them so great?

Barcelona striker Ronaldinho claims all four English clubs will be eliminated from the Champions League this week.

His sights are set on Chelsea, and the Brazilian, voted Fifa's World Player of the Year for 2004, feels the crop of the continent will prove too strong for the best of the Premiership.

With Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all trailing from the first legs of their last-16 ties, the odds are stacked against there being significant English interest in the quarter-finals, even if Liverpool lead Bayer Leverkusen 3-1.

Ronaldinho can see no way back for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, declaring Barcelona as "100%" certainties to reach the last eight.

He told the Daily Mirror: "I'm sure that Barcelona will reach the quarter-finals.

"My predictions would be Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, or AC Milan and maybe Inter to challenge. I don't think any of the English sides will do it."

Barca will look to protect their 2-1 lead from the first leg at the Nou Camp, in which they trailed until the game turned after Didier Drogba's dismissal.

Maxi Lopez and Samuel Eto'o fired the Spaniards to their narrow lead, although Ronaldinho felt the margin of victory could easily have been greater.

"Having seen Chelsea close up I am still 100% confident that we will go through to the quarter-finals," he added.

"We have a better team than Chelsea and I'm certain that we will score at Stamford Bridge to take us through.

"Chelsea gave us a hard game in the Nou Camp but our performance deserved better than 2-1."

Where the 23-year-old gives Chelsea credit is in their organisation.

"Chelsea's defence were extremely difficult to break down," he added. "Jose Mourinho knew how to keep it tight against us and against me in particular."

But there has been no love lost between the two clubs of late, with accusations from either side causing tensions ahead of the return leg in London.

Mourinho has alleged that referee Anders Frisk was visited by Barca boss Frank Rijkaard in his dressing room at half-time at the Nou Camp.

Ronaldinho said of Mourinho: "People don't like the things he says.

"I prefer to do my talking on the field. I don't listen to what people say before or after a game."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

What an arrse. Ronaldinho should shut his fat mouth and let his football do the talking like he claims. I can't wait to see his face when Chelsea knock Barca out tommorow. LOL.

Barca are NOT better than chelsea as he claims.

The only thing I agree with him about is when he says that Mourinho chats crap.

Barca haven't won La Liga 6 years, they havent won the CL for over 10 years. In fact you haven't won a SINGLE trophy for 6 years.

How long is your "lean spell" gonna last???

LMAO!!!

You might win the league this season, but if you can't retain it next season you'll never be a great side.

You say United are on the slide even though they last won the league only 2 years ago and the CL 6 years ago. We have some fantastic young players and you think United are on the slide? We are the richest club in the world and you think we are on the slide?

Dream on.

You are claiming you are up there with the best without even winning anything in the past 6 years!!

The Robben deal, that was messed up by kenyon. If you don't believe me when I say United are the richest club in the world go to this link.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/4269991.stm

You might have young players, but some of the best ones like Fabregas and Pique are leaving to go to bigger and better clubs in England.

Eto'o, I still can't stop laughing after you said he is as good as Ruud.

LMAO.

Did you hear what Eto'o said about getting revenge on Chelsea for not signing him in the summer?

Shows how desperate he was to sign for Chelsea. When they didn't make a bid, he chose Barca as the next best option. He still wishes he joined Chelsea judging by his comments.

jameel - answer this question - what is the true reason fabregas and pique left?

infact i will tell u - they both have said themselves that they would have loved to stay and infact they left coz they think they have more chance of first team footrball at man utd and arsenal and they do lets be fair. That is the major reasonb and the guys themselves said this along with saying they would return.

Yes I am heartbroken at missing out on Eto'o. After all the guy is as good as Ruud and they could have made a lethal partnership together.

Before the england/france euro 2004 match Zidane said he respected Scholes the most in the England side.

But obviously you know more about football than Zidane.

jameel obviously u aint heard of reverse pyschology - zidane only feared scholes as he was worried about getting a broken leg as scholes is arugbly the worst tackler for a central midfielder. Scholes was playing crap for england and zizou put more pressure on him.

the most underrated? u obviously have never listened to gabrielle marchotti - very well respected journalist who writes for various papers - he argued the case convincingly that scholes is the most overrated infact. Thats it umar - listen to good old motty and the other clowns - the same ppl that said they couldnt see why davids had the reputation he did and that he was average - could almost have been jameel saying it!!!

I actually used to think you knew a bit about football. Your last comment about Zidane and Scholes proves I was wrong. Theres no point talking to you, because your sole purpose for posting about football seems to be to undermine United. You're just trying to be annoying now. You don't make sense with what you say.
