I know this thread is about eat your words but I will add the humble behavior of all Pakistan players. May be can be create a praise thread? Anyhow coming back to humble actions, in post match interviews when Rameez was interviewing Akmal and Younis both said we got here because of support of team mates and hard work. They all gave credit to Captain and Coach, thanked the crowd and most important of all Allah. On the other hand Indian Players, from Tahini to Shewag to RP Singh were all flying high. They all thought they are an invincible team after the first test match.

The moral of the story is never make big claims that I am going to do that I am going to this? You words will come back to haunt you!

The only Gentleman in the Indian team is Dravid. I always had huge respect for him and now have more after hearing his post match interview.

Btw, remind me when was last time India won a test series out side Asia. Oh yeah they beat the world beaters Zim few months back, am I correct. That was an really hard fought series. In which Mr. Captian prince of Kolkata after scoring a century started a fight with Coach. Are you going to bring that up?

On the other hand Pakistan beat Eng in 92, 96 Srilanka in 98, 2002 which is considered as real tough team to beat at home.! Just a reminder England is not in Pakistan neither is SriLanka! On yeah I forgot NZ in 1994 and 97 and then again in 2001

well, on paper we probably were equal;;; it was the passion, team spirit and the unity that carried us through, while CAMP INDIA were too busy scrutinizing Shoaib's bowling action

huge huge congrats to you guys. you grit it out and won, after 2 mind-draining body sapping tests in a row, it takes real effort to maintain the intensity. hats off to akmal specially, and asif...not the typical pak quick that i wanted but looks like he can complete the attack. great prospect for england tour, best of luck to that kid.
personally, i feel let down though...shoib's lack of wickets. really wanted some 5fers, but he's a teamman now and his team has won. his time will come. mubarak hoonce more.
