On what areas needed work before Pakistan The opening partnership. But we're very confident that we can handle them as easily as we did last time. |

i just feel bad for the humble dravid ... those Big mouth indians like Sehwag and Dhoni bring soo much shame for India...
Here is classic dravid after the loss in 3rd test "They bowled better than us and we didn't play as much as we should have." "They had bowled a lot of overs leading into this game. We lost a couple of tosses on two flat decks and lobbed a lot of overs before we got here. I think it was around 500 overs. By the time the second innings came, there wasn't much recovery time since we got out pretty quickly. We could have bowled better in the second innings but we couldn't exert much pressure." sehwag must now be in his hotel room crying like a little girl. how can sokmeone give such statements after batting on featherbeds. in contrast, look at pakistan and inzamam. no such statement, always saying that india r the favorites. shows u the difference between the teams

I know this thread is about eat your words but I will add the humble behavior of all Pakistan players. May be can be create a praise thread? Anyhow coming back to humble actions, in post match interviews when Rameez was interviewing Akmal and Younis both said we got here because of support of team mates and hard work. They all gave credit to Captain and Coach, thanked the crowd and most important of all Allah. On the other hand Indian Players, from Tahini to Shewag to RP Singh were all flying high. They all thought they are an invincible team after the first test match.
The moral of the story is never make big claims that I am going to do that I am going to this? You words will come back to haunt you! The only Gentleman in the Indian team is Dravid. I always had huge respect for him and now have more after hearing his post match interview. |

Yes they are. Dude accept it our team played better on same so called dead track and your world class batting didnt had no answer to leathal fast bowling. Btw, remind me when was last time India won a test series out side Asia. Oh yeah they beat the world beaters Zim few months back, am I correct. That was an really hard fought series. In which Mr. Captian prince of Kolkata after scoring a century started a fight with Coach. Are you going to bring that up? On the other hand Pakistan beat Eng in 92, 96 Srilanka in 98, 2002 which is considered as real tough team to beat at home.! Just a reminder England is not in Pakistan neither is SriLanka! On yeah I forgot NZ in 1994 and 97 and then again in 2001 |

lissen jackass akhtar and afridi talk in the ground not offf it, unlike sehwag and dhoni jin ki ground mein bolti banddddd ho jati hai ha ha i love the pakistani bowling is that wt tht joker said? :p remind me of his scores after that!!!
the only graceful thing for you to do is accept defeat, accept pakistan is a better team, you beat us last time ONLY i repeat ONLY cuz we had an extremely young side, with waqar wasim saeed ijaz gone, u suddenly jumped into pakistan to play a series, hardlyyyyyyyyy convinving, still in less than a year we drew at home with india and beat them in the ODIz , infact we beat india in ODIz that year 15 out of 17 times , take that for a hammering! ...cmon man accept it india never was never is and never will be better than a pakistan team, at best you are a third rate side who in the all time list ranks somewhere near newzealand in terms of win percentage, whereas pakistan is in the top 3 !!! how is that now? ... mayb you guys need to stop hyping your cricket team so mucH! |

we shouldn't gloat and make fun of indians on this thread...i know they do it to us...but lets have some class...it was a good win...they talked and talked...but in the end the performance in the field is what matters...it has shut them up...no need to add salt to the wound...lets enjoy the victory but getting too cocky has its downfall...

abt 'pak being a better team' comment, well, on paper we probably were equal;;; it was the passion, team spirit and the unity that carried us through, while CAMP INDIA were too busy scrutinizing Shoaib's bowling action nonetheless, Dravid showed class... He is saving the face of indian cricket... |

huge huge congrats to you guys. you grit it out and won, after 2 mind-draining body sapping tests in a row, it takes real effort to maintain the intensity. hats off to akmal specially, and asif...not the typical pak quick that i wanted but looks like he can complete the attack. great prospect for england tour, best of luck to that kid.
personally, i feel let down though...shoib's lack of wickets. really wanted some 5fers, but he's a teamman now and his team has won. his time will come. mubarak hoonce more. |
