Paper Tigers exposed once again

Paper tigers like Sami , Taufiq , Yohana and even Rana (not a Test Material ) have been exposed by the class of Indian Batsmen .. Imagine the hype that was being generated before the Series started .. These players were being touted as battle hardened cricketers who would set the field on fire as soon as they reached .India .. Even experienced guys like Boycott felt it was going to be a closely fought series .. They got it all wrong .. Mushtaq Mohammed who was derided for his comments was the only man who hit the nail on its head ... The current Pakistan team resembles a Club team as far as test matches is concerned ... With the exception of Inzy and Asim Kamal , they are a bunch of mediocre triers ..
Keeping emotions aside , most of the Pakistani players are just not good enough to be playing at this level .. When I had predicted long back that Pakistan will routed in Test matches , many people got offended ..but I was only stating the facts ... They struggled to beat Srilanka ..almost lost a match to Bangladesh ..Got Thrashed by India and Australia ..and now are in for a real hiding in this series ... I can't bear this humiliation any more ..I appeal to ICC to create a second tier of Test Playing nations comprising of Zimbawe , Bangladesh , WI and Pakistan ..

we are not realistic and expect miracles to happen everytime.we put no logic behind thought. This bowling attack is not capable of getting India out twice in a match.Remember in pakistan we had two inning defeats.

erm....just wait n see.....when Aus n India lose their most experienced players (after WC) n get to play u'll c tht they ain't gona scale new heights in no time..........u need at least 40-50 test bfore u get a ripper team esp when constantly new blood is being injected into the team if the previous gets infected by a virus or sumthin!

I had agreed with Mustaq Muhammad's assessment of this being a club team - and a few other posters had agreed as well. Some derided Mushtaq, but then people are often derided for speaking the truth.

I dont think we deserve to be playing test cricket

they would certainly struggle to take 20 Bengali wickets for sure.

Though this team is indeed very poor a lot depends on the Captain's ability to get the best out of his players.Inzi is a man off few words who couldn't scare a fly but if we had a more no-nonsense type of man in-charge he'd get more out of the players. If the current team was playing and dropping simple catches under Imran Khan he'd have ripped they're f***** hearts out.Khan put the fear of hell in the players which kept them on their toes bringing 200% out of even mediocre players.

Baba, we used to drop a lot of catches in Imran's time too. Real simple sitters. Last time I checked, everybody's hearts from those days are still in place.

The reason India will hammer us

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

if you look at the good test nations they have great bowlers who take wickets but when you look at pakistan this is what we have.

Mohammad Sami 19 656.3 113 2288 48 5-36 47.66

this guy is supposed to be our main pacer in the series, look at that average even Tendulkar has a lower bowling average than him.

Naved-ul-Hasan 3 80.5 10 319 6 3-83 53.16

i know its only his 3rd test match but you can see from the way he bowls he should be a odi bowler only.

Abdul Razzaq 33 794.5 160 2362 62 5-35 38.09

how can razzaq warrant the place of third seamer with bowling statistics like those, his batting average isn't too good.

all three of these bowlers are cannon fodder to batsmen like sehwag, dravid, laxman and Tendulkar.

there is no chance we can win a test match because this bowling is not capable of taking 20 wickets. i think danish will get some success but he will be the only spark for us in the bowling dept.

i know we have the likes of gul, shabbir and akhtar injured. there are others that could have been chosen and that could have done a better job such as s nazir, rauf , irshad.

True catches were dropped in the good old days but we had quality batsmen who defeated the likes off India and England on their turf for the first time. All players had a heart transplant after retiring :oD

The Great Imran Khan got it wrong for once ..He had commented that if Sami keeps himself fit ..he will be the next Marshal ..Well we are still waiting for that metamorphosis ..
