Help needed with online gaming!
I rarely play computer games but yesterday me and my cousin were trying to play Age of Empires multiplayer demo... but it didnt work and i have no idea why...
I have a DSL modem connection and a linksys router... does anyone know if that might have caused the problem? because one thing i noticed was that Age of Empires recognizes my local ip address(router) and not my true ip address(DSL)... is there anyway i can change the settings or do something to make it work? |

BM that thing didnt work for me... aight here is where i think the problem lies... when i open the multiplayer age of empires it shows my IP to be my local IP and not my real IP... i followed the procedure on that website and it still didnt work...

its' because your router has a built in firewall. Disable that and allow port forwarding.
