that could be the reason... try restarting ur computer before watching videos... or a cheap solution could be to buy some ram(256) and install it

Hi muzzy

How long have you been experiencing this problem?

Have you tried playing the same videos in some player other than Real Player?

Have you tried playing videos by closing all other programs that might be running at the time? I mean your PC isn't busy with other stuff and is 'only' playing the video?

Do you mean streaming videos, like videos from internet or from your PC?

Do you have any firewall and anti-virus programs installed on your PC? Please state their names here.

Are you using Internet Explorer as a browser or Firefox?

What in the mother's name are you doing with that ancient PC?

128MB of ram and two programs of this type? I don't think a PC can take it without 5hitting its pants like it is.

Even if you close down other programs while playing the video, these are still running in the background.

Do this for me please...

Press on your keyboard Alt+Ctrl+Delete (all together)
Task Manager will pop up
click Processes from the tabs at the top
now maximize this window so that all the processes can be seen
now take a screenshot of it by pressing on your keyboard 'Print Screen' button (it should be just right of F12 button)
now open Paint
when it opens press Ctrl+V, it will get pasted in it
save this on your desktop
now upload this image on to internet (presuming you know how to, just attach it to a post using Manage Attachments button on PP)
now post it here

Quote:
browser
Can I laugh too? Just once...

Listen, 128MB is not enough, those anti-virus and firewall alone might be taking 128mb out of it, and nothing is left for other applications.

Your PC is like this for some years right? Looks like this problem occured years ago but your PC is so slow that the problem reached your monitor screen this year. First of all you need more RAM, buy 128MB from ebay, perhaps will be £5 at the most. Or if you give me your mobile number, I'll buy it and post it to you, including VAT.

Also try winamp player, search google and download it, or try RealOne player, free version. But it still won't work because your PC just isn't powerful to cope with media files it seems.

Did you buy this PC as new or used?

dude just coz i said browser (and i did say before hence the title of this thread that my brain is working slow today coz od the amount of pressure i have being a finalist) does NOT mean that im thick and that ive never seen the print screen button before on the bloody keyboard and dont know HOW to paste an image into PAINT and UPLOAD it hmmmm i fink i shudnt even be in uni NOT

thanks for your advice entralinks, but when i do ctrl + alt + del processes is no where to be seen, do you want to know what programs are running in the background i can tell you,

and no im not gona spend anymore money on this shyte computer anymore, the amount i have spent on it so far i could have bought that laptop i fell in love with but i guess it weren't meant to be.....

(yes you may take the pees out of me now how much you want to after all im a girl and im suppose to be thick )

Sorry sorry sorry muzy, sacrifice me if you want to.

Great, ok tell me which processes are running in your PC.

By Alt+Ctrl+Delete I was more of wanting the Task Manager to appear. It can also appear by right clicking on the taskbar and clicking Task Manager. Well you knew this as well I think, so do it and show me preferrably a pic of the processes.
