Rugby: Wales on target for Grand Slam Championship!

Wales picked up their 4th victory today in the 6 Nations Championship v Scotland beating them 46-22 (A record win for Wales v Scotland)

Must admit that the 1st half was the best I have ever seen Wales play-2nd half, the minds were thinking of the Ireland game in Cardiff next week which will decide the Championship.

A win for Wales will see them win their 1st Grand Slam for nearly 30 years; a win by Ireland by less then 27 points will see Wales still win the Champioinship (but not the Grand Slam).

So get behind the Welsh next week!!!!!!!!

Good lad ZM!

Cardiff will be buzzing. Its anticipated that there will be 1/4 million visitors in town next week!!!

Wales and Ireland are the 2 form teams-it will be a GREAT match!

no way - ireland will beat wales, then the french will whip the italians and win the championship.

WILL COME DOWN TO PTS DIFFRENCE

wales = +62
ireland=+37
France=+9

so ireland beat wales by 10 pts then the french whip the italians by 45-50 pts so they will win as long as michalak plays

Goal difference:-

Wales: +64

Ireland: +37

Francais: +9

There is NO WAY that France will overhaul Wales points difference!

The CHampionship is in the bag...its the Grand Slam we want!

FRANCE WILL GET IT BACK - a 15 point win for ireland which is reasonable. will set the pts differnce to
wales= +49
irealnd =+52

then all that means is france need to win by 44 pts which is easy - they have put well over 50pts on italy in the past and italy have nothing to play for.

I AINT WELSH - ***

I think Ireland are devestated after losing to France yesterday. They know that they cannot win the Championship even if they beat Wales, so they just wont be up for it.

Wales have momentum...their best run for 30 years...and playing rugby that no one has witnessed in the UK for decades!

Im off to ebay to see if I can pick up a ticket! (probably going for a grand+)

Statistacally, Wales could finish in 3rd place. But the mathematics wont decide anything.

Ireland just wont be up for it.

The only thing that may help Ireland is that some of their team are in contention for British Lions places, so they may want to prove Clive Woodward that they are good enough.
