How You Can Help PakPassion

I'm sure you will have read with great interest that the PakPassion team took the bold and important step of moving the site onto a dedicated server this week.

The server that we were initially on, was not ideal for the volume of traffic we are now experiencing on a regular basis, with on average 100 plus users online at any time. On match days the average is around several hundred users online. The site was slow and we want to provide our users with not only a great site, the opportunity for interesting debate, but also quick response times.

The dedicated server option does not come cheap and our overheads are now double what they previously were. We have had several queries from members wanting to know how they can financially help PakPassion, so that those who are able to and want to, can contribute something towards the running costs of the site.

There is absolutely no obligation to contribute and there will be no special privileges for those who do so. Registering on the site and access to all areas will remain free just like it is now. The contribute button provides details of how to make a contribution by Paypal and for those who do not wish to use Paypal you can contact myself to discuss alternate ways to contribute to PP.

All the funds raised will be used to pay for the running costs of PakPassion, as well as to enhance the site in the future and to keep it running at great speed as we continue to grow!

Any money contributed via Paypal will go directly and securely through paypal, nobody at PakPassion will have any access to your bank details or any personal information.
