Rana: good enough to be in the test team???
Well, after Rana's stellar performance against the WIndies in the psuedo semi-final of the VB series....he DESERVES a good run in the ODI team, even with all of our quickies fit. Few would dispute that. But what about tests??? Is he good enough to be in the test team against India over an inconsistent Sami..or a Shabbir who is just returning from injury (and thus is bound to be rusty)...or some newbie (Khalil, Asif, Irshad)?
(and NO, he CANT replace Shoaib in the TEST matches) its a tough call, but I would give him, Shoaib and Sami a go against India, complemented by Dani :-) (at least at the relatively quick Mohali pitch)

well i think he needs a bit more experiance before he can start knocking on the doors of the test team. he should be there in the reserves and in helful conditions (like those in england) he would be very potent

I don't think he is an automatic pick for tests yet but he will give a challenge to Sami for the Test spot.
