who would Bob Pick :)

Hi Bob,

Congrats on the wins against Australia and West Indies.

1. Now that Micheal Clarke will be opening the batting,,, we need to get him early.....i think you should consider opening the bowling with Razzak with Rana. What do you say...or open with Khalil since he his good against left handers and Gilchrist will be opening.

2. Were Khalil, Rao, Sami, Shabbir, Rana, Umar Gul, Shoaib Akhtar available,,, who are the 3 pacers you would pick for the finals with the Aussies.

3. Our team has a very good chance of beating the Aussies,,, their batting has been vulnerable in the recent past..... and apart of McGrath and Gillespie none of their bowlers are threatening....would you take 280 from the Aussies as a first innings total for Pakistan to chase???

4. What is the Melbourne pitch conducive for.... swing, seam, spin ??

5. Do you carry out analysis of the weakness of the Aussie batsmen and ask **** bowlers to keep these under consideration when bowling ?

6. Can we make a software which suggests the bowler to bowl a certain line to a certain batsmen which is most likely to keep him quite or get out ? For e.g. take Adam Glichrist ..and map the last 2000 deliveries faced by him and the sotware shoudl recommend where to bowl to keep him quite ,,where to bowl to have a chance of him getting out...
??????

We hope that Pak will win the VB Series.

Babar

Hi babarmufti,
1. Yes Clarke is a problem but we will try and have aplan for him, I hope it works
2. Probably Shabbir, Rana and Sami or Khalil.
3. No I would rather try and bowl them out for less!.[/b]

4. It is usually a good pitch although teh weather is pretty poor at the moment.
5. Yes
6. We already have that software and we are using it, still takes skill for the bowler to bowl taht line

I'm getting a feeling Shoaib won't be picked for Indian series, atleast not for ODIs.

We do better without him. When he s not playing, the whole team is together and plays like a team. We don't need akhtar with that attitude. BYE BYE AKHTAR

Shoaib should stick to Test Cricket to prolong his career. He should be a squad player for ODI's, and be used in game and against opposition where pace is needed.
