Afridi or Malik

on a non-asian pitch which one of these would get the nod or is posibble to play both.
my team for a test not in asia would be

If Afridi were to be selected, i would place him below Asim Kaml at NO.8. However i am really stumped as to how to solve these dilemmas. My heart says play afridi as an opneer btu unfrotunately my head tells me that malik is by far more accomplished as a batsman and that afridi should concentrate on the limited overs game unless we see a pitch like the bangalore on which is very spin-friendly.

I'd play Afridi in every match. On docile wickets i'd open with him, otherwise i'd always have him lower down the order.

I say Afridi since Malik can't bowl right now.

but i have a hunch that malik will soon be able to bowl, definitley befor the windies tour, and inshallah before the odi seires against india
