Things Looking Bright for Pakistan

Even if Shoaib doesnt get cleared,
and provided Asif does,

we still have a pretty decent bowling line up,
rana,asif,shabbir,gul,kaneria,

We can still challenge any batting line up with this bowling

why would that happen? one player gets let off and the other doesn't. You could say this logic was applied when the bans were handed out, asif with a years ban and shoaib with 2. Im hoping this is what they will get sorted out in court.

can we not make this into another shoaib and asif thread please?

what i mean is

shoaib may get his ban reduced and asif may have his ban lifted because theres alot of difference between the two

back to topic now

even is shoaib does get cleared he's not going to figure in the team for much longer.

we have an excellent duo in asif and gul --> they will be our key strike bowlers for the next decade ... but they will need support.

we need to find a fast bowling all rounder to fill the role of fast declining razzaq in supporting our main pacers.

aside from yasir arafat are there any other prospects ?

He, Arafat, got one or two matches after such a long time, he has been playing very well in the county circuit
Give him an extended run and he will do very well as an all rounder
