Kumar Sangakarra
It's time to give this guy some credit. Amongst his woeful teammates, he has stood tall and performed quite magnificently during his side's trip to New Zealand.
Made 156 today, and it was as good an innings as I've seen. Brilliant move by the management to have him playing as a specialist batsman. Well done, Sanga. |

So far, he's made 4, 100 not out, and 156. The only other Lankan batsman that I expected to do well, Jayawardene has made 8, 0, 0.
Just for the general knowledge of pp'ers, Sanga's elegant 156 came at a strike rate of 82. Legend. |

In fairness, I gave him significant credit in my thread after the 1st Test.
